I called to set up service the day after I bought my home and a month later my gas gets shut off on a Friday afternoon before I can call to figure out what happened to get it fixed before the weekend. The account manager reviewed my call and said I didn’t specify that I wanted service? I called twice that day and the second time was for the explicit reason to set up service. I asked them to review the call again and they refused. Why would I call a second time that day? Just to have a conversation with the representative? I got majorly inconvenienced and there was error on their part and because you can’t call another gas company to get service they just don’t seem to care or have any reason to act like the rest of the business world where you have options. We need reform when it comes energy choices, it’s ludicrous. TECO gas dropped the ball and that account manager needs to get a wake up call.
