        My job moved me to Ocala and it happened really fast, so we skipped craigslist and went with a local company Marion Land & Homes. Well after a 24 hour drive in a Uhaul truck and trusting this company we get to Ocala in the Shores which we find out is the hood to find a roach infested run down house. After a month of fighting off the roaches we tried to stick it out. With it being the hood of course nothing can be left out or even locked down without it being stolen. Finally after 10 months of a year lease we had enough found another place and left it clean and roach free. The grand people at Marion Land and Homes keep our depoist and charge us all the remaining rent and to top that off they say this home is owned by the biggest lawyer in Ocala and we are going to have fun with you. Well Marion land & homes me and the power of social media are going to have fun with you.

        These people are on top of their game. The office Manager Shari knows her stuff. And the the little gray haired auctioneer can get your property sold.

        No Big Complaints

        I rent my house through Marion Land & Homes and I don't have any major complaints. They are very friendly and they return my calls when there is an issue. Last summer our AC unit broke down and the house was 97deg. We called and they sent someone out very quickly. The only real negative I have is they aren't quick to replace things that are outdated. The carpet in the house is the same carpet from when the house was built in 1970 - I'd hate to know whats living in it! I hear similar feedback from other people that rent from them.
