Good food ,friendly service and WOW !! They actually are open and serving customers when the hours of operation state they are(unlike some Japanese restaurants in the area located by Dillard's )that won't even take a To-go order and HOUR before they are supposed to close .
Love the food, but service sometimes is a hit miss and FYI posted hours of operation doesn't mean anything called @8:08pm to order a carry out and was told "we actually just decided to close ,we haven't had a customer in a few hours so no " my response am I not a customer? And aren't you supposed to be open till 9pm .with service like that guess they don't NEED Bussiness either.
Love Japanese food but if you are with a party of 15 and spend 500 to 700 dollars, dont go and smoke b4 you order because you wont get it and if it does and ask for a comp you wont be taking home the food you ordered. You dont pay you don't get the food. Reined the dinner because we had one person who never got her food. Sad... because I love Japanese food but i will never come here again!
Always great food, friendly service. Weird hours but none the less good environment and food. . . .
The food was alright, the show was ok, service not that great. There was also a strong burning smell coming from the grill the whole time. But what made me have to write a review for this place was the fact that the girl's bathroom has see through stalls! That's right, you can see everyone going, wiping, etc, etc. It's not only disgusting but humiliating if you absolutely have to use one. The main door has no lock either so you have no choice but to go as fast as you can and try not to look at the other stall. Don't go here if you plan on using the restroom and like privacy.
I was REALLY excited to try this place. I figured, anyone who has the guts to open up a huge sushi place right across the street from Tonys must be good! I was shocked when I opened up the menu and the first page wa s done sort of list of rules to eat there...like, they had the right to refuse service to you among a long list of other things...that was an immediate turn off. Service was crappy and so was the food...I feel really bad for all the money the must have put into such a nice place got everything to be so bad...:(
I've been eating here for many, many years and I love this place. I was born and raised in Ocala and now live in Orlando. When I come back to visit my parents, I have to eat here. Their fried rice is to die for, and I love the chicken and filet. The soup is good too. You have to eat at the grill. I sat at a regular table once before and it was NOT the same. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Go early, they fill up quickly!
