The short story: Two years ago they replaced the well pump and did a good Job.The long story: Two years ago we had no water. It had to be either the motor or starter. I decided to replace the started first. Called Bryant's Pump and they said to bring it over. They didn’t have it in stock, I told them thank you, I’ll go to the supply house and get one. They told me that you had to be a contractor to buy one and that I would have to buy it thought them. We also asked how much it would cost to replace the pump? Off hand about $1,100 or $1,200.The starter did not fix it and later after calling other Pump company, it sounded like a good price. Besides they would take a credit card.Mistakes I makeNot asking what the total price in writing before Bryant's Pump started. More than $1,700 when another company would have done it for $1,200.What upset me the most is last week at Lowe’s I ran across the same motor-starter for $56.96.They charged me $119.00.
