I have 25 years of renovation and building experience. As a licensed contractor and developer in Virginia and Florida, I have supervised hundreds of projects- over 350,000 square feet of residential space has either been constructed or renovated in those years. Expertise in modular construction has been utilized on many of my projects. I am a builder of the best modular company in the eastern United States — HandCrafted Homes. I have lived and called Northern Virginia my home for over forty years. EXPERIENCE: Over 30 years of Real Estate Brokerage and related Real Estate experience. I have successfully accomplished over 400 transactions with a value of tens of millions of dollars in residential and investment properties utilizing exceptional marketing and negotiating skills. Prior to my Real Estate career, I also held positions as a College Professor of Finance, practicing CPA and Chief Financial Officer. Since 1992, I have managed residential rental investment properties for myself and investor clients. My management services have included marketing properties for lease, review of tenant qualifications, lease preparation, collection of rents and legal actions. As I have experience as a builder/developer, I maintained properties with cost effective maintenance for enhanced returns to the investor. On a continuing basis, contractors for services required by the properties go through a bid process which is paramount to cost effective management. As a past Chief Financial Officer, I have designed and maintained accurate financial accounting systems for each investment property. The main ingredients to success are twofold. A win—win philosophy and a value - add approach to investment strategy. Everyone needs and requires to be “ happy “ with the deal. This contributes to every player’s desire to complete the deal with the anticipated result. But it is truly important for the transaction to create true economic value as well.
