Founded in 1999, The Crucible is a nonprofit educational facility that offers classes in fine and industrial arts. It also serves as a sculpture studio, educational foundry and metal fabrication shop. The educational facility provides classes in blacksmithing, ceramics, jewelry, woodworking, stone work, enameling, welding and textile.
