TERRIBLE BUSINESS - charged for services not requested / owner verbally insults you

TERRIBLE BUSINESS!!

UNLESS YOU ENJOY BOTH BEING TOLD WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR OWN CLOTHES (AND CHARGED EXTRA FOR IT) AND VERBALLY INSULTED, I SUGGEST LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY DRY CLEANER.

I took a pair of pants in to be DRY CLEANED ONLY. I indicated to the proprietor that the hems were coming undone but that I did not want them to be fixed at that time. I was assured that they would not be and was written a ticket for dry cleaning service only. When I returned to pick up my pants I found them not only to be dry cleaned but ALTERED. When I asked what had happened, the owner told me she thought the pants were in terrible condition and therefore had WRITTEN ON THE TICKET AFTER I HAD LEFT that they needed to be hemmed. She then tried to CHARGE ME FOR A SERVICE I NOT ONLY DID NOT REQUEST BUT SPECIFICALLY ASKED NOT TO HAVE DONE. Each time I tried to explain to her that I should not have to pay for a service I did not request and that more importantly she should not have done whatever she had wanted with another persons belongs, she ignored me. Instead she told me that it was my fault for keeping my pants in such poor condition and that I should be thankful for what she had done for me. What the F***. And if that wasn't bad enough, she began to interrogate me about what I did in those pants and where I worked, saying that she should come by my job to screw with me.
There are other environmentally friendly places out there that don't treat there customers this way. Go there.
