Established in 1977, Lamb Farms is one of the largest dairy farms in New York with more than 4,200 cows. It also operates a calf facility that offers space for raising newborn calves. The dairy has several milking facilities where milking is done inn shifts around-the-clock. Its facilities and farming units are spread over an area of nearly 6,000 acres of company-owned land and approximately 2,500 acres of leased land. Some of the crops grown in fields include corn, alfalfa and wheat, as well as vegetable crops, including peas, beet roots and cabbage. Additionally, it maintains an on-site shop, as well as provides inventory management, maintenance and pest control solutions.
