I made the (apparently) unforgivable sin of calling on Thursday, near the end of intake hours, seemingly keeping the intake person from her lunch date. Within about 3 minutes, long before hearing the essence of the case, she had decided I was the unworthy person of the day, and deserved to be on the receiving end of pent up attitude. The next hour was spent listening to interruptions and dismissals, while she attempted to gather justification(s) to support the attitude she adopted before having a clue about my case. Toward the end of the hour (of intteruptions and false conclusions), she finally actually determined the essence of the case, BUT that was LONG after having misdirected and poisoned the attourney against taking my case. Then she had the nerve to try to convince me that her snarky attitude & false information to the attourney had no bearing on the decision. My case IS directly in the bullseye of their stated mission. My situation, my actual case, and the result of their refusal to help... none of that mattered, since I dared call, asking for help, when the intake person had low blood sugar ?? an arguement with her boyfriend?? Because of this, the Federal gov will continue stomping on me like a bug, because they CAN. Call earlier in the week/day & hope/pray you get a different intake person. Good Luck
