So this is a build-your-own sandwich / bowl kind of place: nice selection at the salad bar for toppings but I know it's not a thing for some diners.Falafel: under-flavored if you are an ethic foods seeker. I have it in a bowl for the toppings I added helped with the flavor but they are bland with a hint of black pepper.Shawarma: lamb was nicely cooked but the again kind of tame in the flavor department. I had this as a small sandwich: pita is on the thick side about the thickness of thin toast bread.Fries: well, they are fries. Nice mayo and curried ketchup dipping sauces.Overall it's ok: if you're going to be in the area already and all the other dining spots around are packed come here. Just don't make a special trip.
Terrific dinner -- merquez lamb sausage pizza, beef brochettes, spinach & roasted fig salad and calamari. Signature martinis. Wonderful atmosphere, great service. Small adds to the ambiance. Owner present and friendly. Will definitely return!

My first time at any of these Zoe Kitchens: very nice, bright, food is made to order after you order and pay at the counter, and in not too long a time it all shows up.I ordered the hummus trio as my starter: showed up with my entree. GGRRR!!! Nice trifecta of hummus flavors, kind of bland for m…
I have eaten at Taverna dozens of times over the past four or five years. I have always received great service and consistently good food. The value is good and the bar area is nice (but a bit small). I'll be coming back time after time!
9. Sangria Cole
This is my favorite tapas place... I have spent extensive time traveling in spain, and around the Mediterranean area... and this hits the spot for me everytime I miss me some spanish life... Grab a seat on the patio, order some drinks, and get a ton of tapas to share - can be affordable if you …
I originally planned a wedding shower at another restaurant in Dallas. However, due to a major issue with the afore mentioned place I decided to move our party to La Duni. Their attentive staff helped us plan everything for our afternoon tea party in 1 day!\r \r The chef called us back the sam…
12. Roti Grill
Good Indian food: good enough that Sub-Continent ethnicities come here to eat too. Have tried almost everything over the years. All good.Order the Texas Portion if you are hungry: this time I enjoyed the Combo Tikka with Raita. Dang it was good.
The dinner was a bit expensive but the food had great balance; you have to try their lamb. The staff was attentive to us and accomodating to special requests. The chocolate cake and the tiramisu are fantastic choices for desert but I am partial to them. In all of the restaurants I have been t…

Adelmo's has long been one of the best kept secrets in Dallas. The food meets every standard, the service is quietly effecient, the setting is exactly what you would expect in any European establishment, and the overall warmth is exceptional. Visiting Adelmo's last Saturday evening proved that…

So this is almost the same menu as their sibling restaurant Baboush in Uptown: well, except for quite a few more $$. Even the same musical playlist playing I the background. How sad. Is Moroccan food really so uninspiring?Chicken shawarma was bland. Beef shawarma was underspiced to be authentic,…
29. Cafe Istanbul
Soft music, great service, flavorful hot meals that dances on the palette indicative of Turkish cuisine. perfect for date night or friends enjoying the evening. Being from Seattle, this place scored high on my taste buds.
My first time at any of these Zoe Kitchens: very nice, bright, food is made to order after you order and pay at the counter, and in not too long a time it all shows up.I ordered the hummus trio as my starter: showed up with my entree. GGRRR!!! Nice trifecta of hummus flavors, kind of bland for my taste, but pleasant. The Beef Kabobs were decent: two hefty skewers, grilled veggies and course "mashed" potatoes. The beef had a lamb chewiness to them (fine if it was lamb, but not for beef), grilled veggies were nice, and the potatoes were tasty.Overall nice place.
This has become me & my husband favorite place to eat. The restaurant is very simple and didn't impress us much when we walked in. The reason we both love going there is cause of the food. It's very healthy & delicious middle eastern/ Persian food. Plus it's Halal which is wonderful as its hard to find few good choices of Halal restaurants. When we do in we have our usual order chicken kabob for me & my husband loves their lamp item with outstanding green rice!
So this is almost the same menu as their sibling restaurant Baboush in Uptown: well, except for quite a few more $$. Even the same musical playlist playing I the background. How sad. Is Moroccan food really so uninspiring?Chicken shawarma was bland. Beef shawarma was underspiced to be authentic, tasted more like a burrito really. Chicken Tagine was nicely done but chicken was overcooked and a little dry. Fattoush salad was salad-y.
Ordered the sampler platter and got a ton of food: kebabs, gyros, lamb chop, lamb, chicken, beef and more. All delicious with perfectly grilled meats. My only complaint: way too much salt in the Adana and the gyros. And I'm not afraid of salt. My fingers are going to swell up later.Service is still sketchy: still too new to find their groove I'll assume.THIS PLACE IS BYOB!!
Terrific restaurant with an extensive wine list and wonderful food. I've always wanted to try the buffalo steak but the 3 times I've been there it wasn't available. Still, the service is great. The atmosphere is great and it's small enough and cosy enough to enjoy a romantic evening out.
Wonderful wine selection. The menu is changed often and i have never been disappointed by the service or the food and drinks. Definitely a great place to have a nice dinner, share a cocktail or wine and tapas. You MUST also go for the Sunday brunch. It's really in a league of it's own.
Food was amazing presentation and atmosphere made me want to eat again!!! Our Server Mike although new was A+++ Portions are good and quality was top shelf! They have a really amazing wine list so if you want to stop and smell the roses this is the place for you!
Referring to the location on Beltline & Tollway. It's quite nice. A good place for lunch if you're on a schedule. The food is good although I'm sure the chicken is processed. That's my only diss. For a $10 lunch it's almost exceptional.
We had dinner and brunch there. Brunch came in huge quantity Foods are fantastic. One of the best western food we ever eat. The owner and waitress were very friendly. Just wish they were open on Sunday. A must go restaurant.
