I currently rent from HomeFinders. I have NEVER been late making a payment, always on time. Sometimes 15 days early! I was informed that the electricity was included in my rent. 3 months went by and my husband and i never recieved a light bill... but we did recieve a letter from homefinders stating we had 10 days to pay a $250 light bill just after we paid them $600 rent, and if we did not pay we needed to evacuate the house or we would be removed! exact words!
Now, when we moved in, there was RED wine stains on WHITE carpets that they stated they would replace.. NO! they, ""rug doctor""ed it!! they left trash in the cabinets, and food in the fridge, as well as the BOTTLE OF RED WINE ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER! every door facing was broken, and the latches on the windows were broken also! this house is S#!T! we had to move in b/c our lease was up on our apartment and could not resign... Our lease is up August 15th, and we will not renew our lease... I have never had a problem with the people, just the houses...
Also, we (homefinders, and self) had agreed on a house (not the one im in now) and we were looking at it, they gave my husband and I a date to move in.. when i called to get the key to move my things in.. SOMEONE ALREADY LIVED THERE! do not depend on these people for crap--you will get bent over!

We rented a house for 7 months. They took a long time with repairs. When we moved they took every dime of our deposit that they could. They charged $150.00 for light cleaning. All that needed done was the house needed vaccumed. And took $400.00 to repaint the house which we had painted. The reason we painted was because when moved in the rooms were supposed to be repainted and never were. The living room was 1/2 one color and the rooms had marks all over the walls that we painted over. They were supposed to get it to us within a month and didn't. They were very rude when my parents who live back in TN called about the deposit. They also didn't return the extra rent they owed us because we moved out mid-month but had paid for the whole month. We are still waiting for that. I have rented from other realtors in the Clarksville/Fort Campbell area and they were the only bad experience we had.

Horrible Business Practices + Rude workers and Owner = A Horrible Experience

My husband and I have been attempting to rent a home from them, and he first dealt with Deidra who made sure to tell him that we could have a pro-rated price for the month of May, since we couldn't move in until May 20th. Then when he goes to fill out the application that costed him $15 to apply, it was approved even with some cosmetic damages he requested to be fixed before we would be moving in. When he found out that it had been approved, he went to pay the deposit which Deidra has said for him to do so that the house would be ours, but Pamela said that there was no way Deidra would have told him that. But not was this just a thing she said, she had the worst attitude and business approach ever. Then when he called back to speak to Deidra on the next business day, of course she wasn?t at work. Then when he spoke to Mr. Fenner himself, the great business man that he is had the audacity to hang up on my husband. We also talked to neighbors around the area who had mentioned how they were screwed out of their rental deposit, even though the only thing that was wrong with the house when they moved out was normal wear and tear. (Which is against the law to keep a deposit just because of normal wear and tear.) I want to warn everyone about the poor business ethics of the people that work here and for the owner himself. BEWARE!!!!

The owner, Mr. Fenner, has taken us by fools. We bought our first home with them, and now we were looking to sell it. Out of a 110.000 dollars the house was valued, with an equity of nearly 40.000 dollars, we only got 8000. He said there were damages to the house (which i know was a lie because after we moved i personally fixed everything, including painting the walls and deck) He saiid it was going to be that or nothing. we had no remedy to sell it because of a situation we were going thru. Also, he will always look up for himself only, not caring for the welfare of anybody else. I would've rather sell the house myself, but i cant turn back time. He will take your money and do nothing. Please, I have lived here for 5 years, and i regret the day i met them.

Avoid Homefinders

I bought My first home from them and I was promised By the owner Mr Fenner of HomeFinders that he would make certian repairs now that I am selling the home through another relator, Home Finders us repersenting the buyer and doing a pour job of it and on top of it refering the buyer to use a very shady finance company in the process. Almost like they are getting a kick back from this mortgage company. I don't like using a Realistate company to sell the house but they have resources that I do not. But I would not use Home Finders to Buy a house or sell one.

If you are a Homeowner

If you are a homeowner looking for someone to manage your property I would highly advise you to look elsewhere. I had them manage my property for several years while away and upon my return I found my home in serious distress!! all they charged the tenants for was the carpet cleaning which never happened and I had to have someone come in and REPLACE every carpet to include the lineoleum. so basically every floor had to be replaced. I also took the time to count holes in the floors ,walls and ceilings 411 and this is a small house. Also the first tenants had moved and were gone for 2 months my neighbor called me to inform me of this and I had to call Homefinders. They didn't even know the tenants had left. I have lots of pictures to back up everything I have stated and there is so much more not mentioned. But if you are a renter go for it, you can even get away with not paying the rent for months on end until the owner calls and harasses Homefinders to get the money and you can destruct all you want and only pay 85.00 for carpet cleaning. As far as the selling part I cannot say I am only stating that If you own your home and you want to have someone manage it Go else where your home will not be in the best hands with HOMEFINDERS!
