We purchased a 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid to replace a 16yo 2000 Lincoln Towncar. Although my 4yo and 9yo boys cried and hugged/kissed the Lincoln good bye, my husband and I are thrilled with our purchase. The entire experience was smooth and seamless, from being greeted by Eric our salesman, finished up with the Assistant Manager TJ, and Shaun with Finance. Even salesman Dave and Allstate rep Kyle were awesome with our boys! Eric kept working to reach our right price. TJ helped set our door code, program all our electronics (sync phone and garage door opener), answered all our questions, and helped entertain our boys while we worked out all the paperwork with Shaun in finance. Shaun explained everything thoroughly and creatively worked out an affordable method for the extended warranty. All while salesman Dave popped popcorn for our boys and even gave them each a few quarters for being good while waiting. I bought a jeep from them November of 2014. By February of 2015 it was already in the shop. The spark plugs had never been changed. Eventually the vehicle started to idle weird whenever I started it, warm or cold. We changed the spark plugs. Now it's March of 2015 and the engine has a freaking tick and knock. Had to have it towed to my local jeep dealer to be looked at. Thank god I bought a warrenty when I bought the jeep. I'm 30 weeks pregnant dealing with a crap vehicle they sold me. The car I traded in I owned her 3 years, kept regular maintenance, and had NO problems with it! Will never go there again and will never recommend them to anyone!
This place is a joke, it isn't even worth a one star review. They are pulling a classic bait and switch on customers. We found a listing for the vehicle we wanted online, called a salesman about it and even got pre-approved for the financing for that vehicle. When we went to make sure we wanted it and purchase it the next day (after driving an hour and a half there), the salesman tried showing us other vehicles and claimed that the one we found online wasn't there. We showed them the stock number and they "tried" to locate it and then said "I guess it must have sold last night" even though they could find no record of it and they acted like the vehicle had never existed. Even though we went through all prior approval steps just the night before for THAT vehicle. They also tried claiming it wasn't on their website and while they had removed it from the search listings, the page itself was still active and easily found using Google.
The salesman was knowledgeable and I really did appreciate that but I really did not like the fact that he kept walking away from us in the middle of showing us a vehicle to go to what appeared to be chit chatting with another salesperson. He didn't appreciate us as a customer who was ready and willing to purchase a new car that day if the vehicle and price was right. Also, we viewed a car that had a lot of great options we wanted but it also had options we absolutely did not want and he didn't care of the way we felt. Instead of trying to find us the proper fit he was just pushing us into a car of the wrong color and features to get it quickly off the lot. When I asked about an option we really would like he told us it wasn't possible that it was more work to get a vehicle with that option then the resell price was worth - even after we made it CLEAR we had no concern for resell and we were looking for a car that would be a lifetime family vehicle until it no longer ran and the options were a big priority. We left the dealership with a sour taste in our mouth and luckily found another ford dealership in the area (The Belleville location) tha really did do everything they could to get us the perfect fit. Will Not return to this dealership!
