Gone To The Dogs Daycare

My dog also got injured in this place. I have a 15 lbs puppy who got bitten by other dog (he missed a piece or his ear! ) and they didn't even know which dog was responsible for this...he also got infected with warts (a common virus between dogs) while he was going there AND my puppy blinked painfully for an entire week after he got groomed in there, I don't know if it was soap or hair inside his eye, whatever it was this place didn't work for me and my baby AT ALL. The people who work there are nice in general, but I can't say the same thing about the owner. If you love your dog don't leave him/her in this place. I don't think they watch the dogs the way they are supposed to.

After looking through the yellowpages online & reading reviews I called Gone To The Dogs last minute the weekend before Thanksgiving to get our new dog Dudley in for grooming. Although they had no openings, they were nice enough to put me on a waiting list. I received a call on Monday to let me know that they had an opening the DAY BEFORE Thanksgiving! I walked right in & was greeted promptly. The nice lady immediately went to get our dog's groomer so I could speak with her personally, which was a great personal touch. We talked for a few minutes & she told me that Dudley would be ready in AN HOUR & A HALF!!!!!! AMAZING! Usually we have to wait 3-4 hours with other places! Just as she said, he was ready to go at the specified time and he looked perfect! There was a nice guy working there who filled me in on doggy daycare as well. While I waited for our groomer to bring Dudley out I watched the dogs in daycare through a window connecting the waiting room & the great big indoor playground they have. All the dogs looked like they were having SO much fun! Were definitely using them from now on for all our grooming and daycare needs!



To the person who left the awful review.....you must have been having a bad day the day you wrote that. Smells of urine? Try wet dogs. Its a dog groomers for crying out loud. There are wet dogs there, Hate to tell you, but its not going to smell like a day spa.



I'm recommending Gone To The Dogs to everyone!!!

I brought my dog ( Noir) to Gone to the Dogs Daycare in Novi. When i walked in it was very cool inside. It was a perfect temperature for a dog to relax and have fun in. It did smell like dog, but I'd rather it smell like dog than a cleaning chemical to get rid of the smell. The staff greeted me with a smile and talked in the nicest possible tone. When I left for work I knew my dog would be safe. When i had free time at work i went the website and i even saw Noir! I came back later on and the staff greeted me again and i got Noir back. (From what i saw on the webcam i think he didn't want to leave.) From now on Gone to the Dogs will be the only daycare center i will trust! I LOVE GONE TO THE DOGS!!!!!!

I don't know what was going on that day "diedre" was at Gone to the Dogs, but we've never experienced anything like she was talking about, and we've been coming for *years* . . . nearly since they opened.

We use the daycare the most, but the experience of the groomers and the knowledge of the trainers isn't anything to look over! These people care about your furry friends; always putting them first.

Our boys that attend daycare are happy and practically leaping out of the car to get there, and when they are picked up, they are tired-tired-tired!

I'm so happy to have a safe, caring place to watch and play with them while we have to work. It's much better than them sitting alone all day.

I was on yellowpages looking up the contact information to share with my friend, and I will continue to give out Gone To The Dogs info to others.

walked in and got a strong odor of urine. The place has no air conditioning so I didn't like that for my dog. They place the dogs all in the same room. If you ask for my opinion I think big dogs should be separate from small dogs. They quoted me 25 dollars over the phone and when I came to pick up my animal they then told me 35. This place is disgusting and dirty. I will never recommend this to anyone. My absolute favorite is camp bow wow in commerce. Its clean the staff is very nice and very pleasant.
