I called up to oder crabs. I was told they had all sizes and that they were running very heavy. When I arrived I mentioned that the last time I bought their crabs I was disappointed because they were very light, and small. The girl that waited on me just acted very unconcerned didn't suggest to reimburse me or try to assure me that it wouldn't happen again. I waited about 10 minutes and they called my name, they handed me my crabs and I took them home. Well, when I got at home, I opened up the bag and dumped the crabs out. No. 1 they were very small, but I was told they were the jumbos! I open one up and it had a horrible smell like a sewer line! I opened up all of them, they all had the same rotten smell and were all very light. I was very, very upset by this time. So I called and told them that the crabs smelled very bad and were small after they told me they were jumbos and asked to speak to the owner. She told me the owner was not there and that she would have him call me. It has been a week now and he has not called me yet! I really don't think he is going to call me. However, they lost my business and I hope who ever is reading this will take my work for it. DO NOT BUY THEIR CRABS!!!! UNLESS YOU WANT ROTTEN CRABS AND WANT TO BE VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
A couple weeks ago my mom and I had got some crabs from Bill's Seafood . When we got home the crabs were very runny inside and disappointing. Granted it was dollar crab night so we were not expecting top of the line. So my mom, just out of curiosity called and spoke to an employee there and explained the situation to her. Well Bill must of been standing close so the girl handed him the phone. My mom explained the situation again to him and his response was " I don’t know what to tell you our crabs have been running to go for that, tell the girl the next time you come in and will throw in a couple extra." This type of ignorant behavior was not expected no warranted. Needless to say I will take my business elsewhere.
Through casual conversation at work with a coworker she had stated she got crabs there a few weeks ago as well and they were terrible. Here on out I will be getting crabs from Conrad’s , where I have had much better service and crabs.
