With us Pro-fitness a personal training company has lost paperwork, made several withdrawls (3 months worth of fees in a 2 week period plus twice took the application fee) , refused to process two proper forms of payment ( claim to have lost the information) then sent us to collections for non-payments for the amount over $1,800. The trainers either are no show , show up late from being in the shower, have forgotten about the appointments, and for the last three months have be unavailable to schedule anything. When I spoke with the newest manager his re-action was to throw me out of the club. When I informed him I knew he did not have the authority to do so he then threaten to call the cops. When I asked what I did to require police response he walked away.Don't take just my word, research the company more and you will see others with experiences like ours.

My original membership was in Walpole and was transferred to Norwood after Walpole closed. I never really used the membership anyways, and with the facility in Walpole closed Norwood was just too far away. I called Norwood and asked if they would cancel my membership thinking it would be simple since I had already surpassed the 12 month terms of the contract. Of course you can't cancel over the phone you either have to go to the facility or send a letter. On January 1st 2014 I drove the 45 minutes to the club to cancel my membership. The woman behind the counter looked it up and said "no problem, your membership is paid in full, you own it, you don't need to do anything". She even double checked with the gentleman who was working with her. Of course, that information was incorrect and the monthly dues were taken from my checking account. I called, the first person I spoke with had no clue how to help me but he would have his manager call with in the hour. 2 hours later no return call from a manager, I have to stop what I'm doing and call again. After 2 phone calls, I'm promised my account is cancelled and a check will be mailed out and received within 2 weeks. Today 2 weeks later "NO" refund check, I have to call again and speak to a different manager who tells me they haven't even put the refund into the accounting department to be sent out but he'll do it today. Oh, and I'm not suppose to be upset about this! Obviously the staff has not been trained correctly in policy and customer service. My advise stay away.
