I brought my car in and asked them to give me a quote before they did any work. The same day they called and told me what was wrong with it. I had them clean the fuel intake and told them my dad could do the rest, and they were loyal to what I wanted. I was able to pick it up that evening but it broke down again before my dad could do all the other repairs, and then we got a lot of snow. So I brought my car back on a Friday morning and they said they couldn't get it in until Tuesday morning. Four days later, I called them back to confirm my appointment and they told me that they had been working on it since Friday. Honestly, I was really worried they were in their shop doing hundreds of dollars in repairs to my car without my permission since they were only supposed to change three spark plugs and I didn't think that it would take that long. Tuesday afternoon, they called me and told me that my car was finished and all it took to fix the problem was replacing those three plugs. I'm sure they were just super busy all weekend because they really are a reliable and trustworthy business. I plan on returning.

My need from Rapid Service Center was not a big money maker. All I needed was a headlight bulb replaced. I had been to two auto-service establishments that AM. Both saying it would take one hour to assess the need and then another hour to send for the part and replace the bulb. So, in an attempt to shorten that process I had gone to an auto-parts store to obtain the bulb. The auto-parts store gave me Rapids name as a referral for my not-so-big job, adding no guarantee for a faster service. First impression was the shop was clean, neat, and odor free, those things important to me. They were very busy. I made my request to the intake gentleman. He was polite and I was glad he didn't snicker when I put voice to my need. 20 minutes later I had my headlight bulb replaced and I was on my way down the road. No charge. Word of mouth is a great marketing tool. I will tell everyone I know about the professional respect and kindness I receive at Rapid Service Center.
This is my go-to place. I shop around and they always are about half of what the others charge. However I've gotten to know the owner's son and I always tip well and he takes real good care of me. They will get right to your car and get it done right for the least amount of money. Several times I've been willing to fix more than what they suggested and they are always honest and admit to me that what I was thinking needed replacement doesn't need it yet. This is a legit review, not paid for, my name is Matt Van Every and I will always recommend a company that gives me great service. I drive a 2003 Saab 9-5 and you may see my car outside every now and then getting an oil change. They've never smoked in my car but they may smoke around it. The owner has gone through several mechanics to get a few good one's on staff so some of the bad reviews may be about guys that are no longer there. Ask for Moe, he is super nice and honest and will get you taken care of.
I have nothing but praise to say about Steven and his excellent mechanics at Rapid Service Center. The fact that my 2000 Honda Accord has over 350K miles, largely due to the care given by Rapid Service Center should testament enough for anyone in search of an cost efficient, honest, competent, and friendly auto repair shop. I would even rate this repair shop as superior to most (if not all) car dealerships with respect the quality of repair service and definitely the repair costs.
