NO LONGER A&G THIS IS CALLED MOTOWN II. THE ORIGINAL OWNERS ARE BACK!!!This is the adult spot to play. It's discreet, plenty of parking, no cover and mature. The music is always on, I can hear Zydeco, Blues, R&B no RAP or HIP HOP. The drinks are plentiful and so is the selection. I was intrigued with the frozen drink machine, the bartenders were able to make some concoctions that I had never heard of and it was delicious. Kisses to the cook for that fabulous buffet she cooks. That girl puts her foot in it.
This club has NOT closed. The business office closed, but the club is still very much in business. Meetings are monthly at different venues, and the group is very actively supporting the Houston Public Library, UH scholarships, and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. They have a fundraiser each year and would love for you to join them as they strive to improve the lives of Houston women and children. Please visit www.thewomansclubofhouston.org for more information!
OMG This was a surprise party for my birthday - Marshall & Gail really went all out finding unusual entertainment to keep the party exciting! Nothing like a little cirque performance with some pyrotechnics on the side! Then a great band to keep the night going strong. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for a job well done! Can't wait to see what will happen next year. . . . . .
It has been a long time since I had been in the dating scene. I have been divorced for 4 years and I`m not used to the bar scene. However, I attended one of the EightFriendsOut speed dating events at 3rd floor this past weekend, and it was great. I really liked the mixer at the end since it allows for more conversation. I`m already signed up for the next one!
I recently wrote a review of which i decided to change my opinion for the better. I grew a little impatient and felt like i made an early judgement and I apologize. I have been to one event and had a great time. I would love to try this again if you they would have me. Thanks.
The Alief YMCA is a good place for families. They host great special occasion activities and the staff is very friendly and caring. They are very patient with the children and provide a safe place for our youth to be. I give this business a 5 star rating.
A friend of mine who lived in this area introduced me to Eight Friends Out. I joined the group and attended a few speed dating events and dinners. I always had a great time and met a lot of nice people. I would definitely recommend it to anybody.
This center is very family oriented...Lot of morning activities for seniors...walking to music slow/fast, Sit & Be Fit, Needle Point, Computer Basics, Monthly Trips & More....
