My care giver after working more than a year, is still making $8.00 an hour. Recent changes, caregivers are paid as contract employees, which means he is not even making minimum wage. Vto had 3 months to find me another caregiver. They couldn't find anyone to take his position for this pay. My caregiver decided to continue because I need the help. I just had a two week stay in the hospital. The first few days I was home was very hectic. He forgot to use that clock device. So he was informed he would not be receiving those 17 hours of pay. I will be personally making sure vto doesn't get paid either. This company doesn't care about their patients, if they did, then they would do right by the caregivers. They do not. If your looking for care for your family, don't use this company. Your family member will not receive proper careAfter telling my care giver he wouldn't be paid, I again no longer have a caregiver. I'll be reporting them to the state, my insurance company & labor board

I would not recommend anyone to place their loved ones under their care. Our loved one is in the hospital because of the negligence that occurred while they were there. They developed more than 1 bed sore while there. They are the epitome of doing just enough to get by. Complaining to the DON or Administrator is a joke, they will find a way to excuse their staffs behavior, and may even blame the fact you're there and taking notice. Warning you because that was our experience. They say they are "skilled nursing" but not sure where they received that title because people are not trained properly on even caring for bedsores. RT comes once a day and usually middle of the night. Rehab staff was nice and caring so only positive thing I can say, but they do lack equipment. Our loved one is in the hospital and only because we made the call because they were sitting on their butt, braiding each others hair (no joke) while our loved one got worse. Negative stars I would give if possible.
I have been working for the company almost two years they always for get to pay there workers I got a call saying I will not be getting paid when I asked why Selena told me that they didn't get paid so I am not this is a unprofessional business they do not care anything about there employees or client how am I not getting paid when I have already did the work I was assigned to.
My Care giver didn't get her check one week because she used a certain phone because her phone was shout off and I go to the Adult Day Care to see my doctor and she used their phone to call in so they didn't pay her she works for her money and they don't pay her because she used a certain phone.

Renaissance at Kessler park is a nightmare of a place, people crawling down the halls, screaming...the staff completely ignores then and treats them as idiots.
This place is toxic. The top management and their friends are hypocritical, holier than thou, uses bullying tactics, treats the skilled nursing residents like 2nd class citizens, and they short staff every department only to pay the overworked an embarrassing amount.
The incompetent staff of Signature Pointe caused the death of our father. The management then fabricated their own version of the horrific event, which seven family members witnessed. The TX Board of Nursing RULED that the Signature Pointe staff did indeed cause the death of our father. Additonaly, Signature Ponte management was found to have destroyed the original medical records and they created a Signature friendly version of the event, to cover up their actions. Beware of this facility! They have been shown to care more about the money than the well being of the people they are supposed to be caring for.
My family used this hospice for the first two weeks of my sister's hospice care. The experence was unbelieveable! I will be brief in describing the problems we encountered which affected my sister negatively. During the initial nurse visit, the nurse mrasured my sister's swollin midsection. She said it measured 22 inches. When i told her that must be wrong, she told me that she was correct and wrote down 22 inches. I told her it should be at least 46 inches. She said again that it was 22 inches. I insisted she measure again. She huffed, measured it again and it was indeed 46 inches. I couldn't believe that an RN thought such a swolen midsection could possibly be 22 inches. She then explained that she would fedex medications including pain meds tylinol and hydrocotin. The hydrocodin was missing. My sister was in a great deal of pain. We called Seasons and requested hydrocotin. She called it in to the pharmacy but forgot to specify the number of pills. The pharmacy called me and told me to call the nurse and have her send a correct RX. After FOUR HOURS we finally had the pain medication but by that time my sister was in excruciating pain. There have been five scheduled times that an aide was to come and help with bathing. Not one time did the aide show up without my calling numerous times to get someone to show up hours later. The excuse is always that the nurse did not order an aide. On each occasion there were witnesses that appointments had been made. My sister also takes a blood thinner and was supposed to be checked for accurate dosage. The nurse had to prick her finger to draw a drop of blood and place it on a reading instrument. The instrument did not register so she pricked her again, and again. After 8 painful and frustrating tries she finally gave up and blamed my sister for not producing enough blood to be tested. I thln told the nurse that the instrument may be malfunctioning and to stop pricking my sister! The next day the hospice called to say that the instrument was malfunctioning and would send someone out as soon as they could locate another one. Several days later someone showed up, drew blood on the first prick. Her medicationneeded to be changed. My sister has only a couple of weeks left to live. The past weeks with Seasons have been so stressful and unnecessarily painful for her. I have had to bathe her in bed because she is too heavy for me to lift because of extreme water retention. She feels dirty. This is no way to die!!! I complained daily to seasons that they needed to stop the chaos and take care of business to no avail - just promises that they didn't keep. They are paid 100% by medicare as are all hospices yet their service is so bad that i would call it disgraceful! To treat the dying in such a way is downright sinful! It is clear seasons is just a business out for the medicare payments and does not provide what they are paid for. I have since signed up with CC Young Hospice and my sister has finally found some peace in her final days. Avoid this place at all costs!
