So I called just to get some basic information regarding adding kids Klub to my membership. It was then I was rudely told by a woman named marquee that I couldn't get a simple pricing and she would have to transfer me to sales. Then she hung up on me. I asked if any sales ppl were there to speak to and she said no. Ummm ok? So there is no one to speak to regarding a new member joining. Then she informed me that all reps were busy and wouldn't be able to speak with me for at least an hour. And even when I called back later in the day she would pick up phone and just hang up after I asked to speak with the general manager Mike. If I can't even get pricing on a membership I could only imagine what happens after you join the gym. I use to have 24hr fitness and even tho they are a lil more pricy they have a clean, respectable customer service team and answer all your questions. I guess you get what you pay for with LA fitness and that isn't saying very much
I enrolled, 2 weeks went to the pool, the night after I was sick, vomit, diarrhea.. Stayed home for 2 days..tried again...same thing happened...then same routine x2....finally I spoke with a Dr and a RN, and both said that closed in pools withh no ventilation are the worse for bacteria and illness... I called canceled my membership. The administrator was nice to me, but I was so sick, I will never go again... Im warning all of you, stay away from this place, you will get sick,,,
I am so disgusted by every single working memeber at La Fitness. I am especially disgusted by the ma'am MICHELLE. Today, February 8, 2015 at about 5:30 pm, MICHELLE was the most conceded selfish person I have ever had to come across in my whole La Fitness experience. I have been going there for over 14 years. She was so so rude and condescending. BUT then what do expect from a "manager" who talks down to her coworkers in front of customers! To be respectful to you? Absolutely not. Whoever put MICHELLE in charge needs to reconsider their decision.
Though upset at first with some of the contractual minutes, the manager at this branch was very understanding and was able to rectify the situation.
