Project Management Services left us with an unfinished, poorly done, kitchen area remodel that took an extraordinary length of time and caused extensive damage to our home and property. None of which they will take responsibility for except to demand further payment for the Project.
Ten months for a four week project. Four months we were put out of our home because of damage and delays.
We have to finish installation and repair cabinetry. PMS damaged $17,000 worth of new cabinetry, installed it improperly and installed defective and damaged pieces.
Our electricity does not work properly.
Everywhere workers went in our home they caused damage. They dug out insulation, pulled out exhaust vent and cooler ducts and removed a fire shield. They flooded the crawlspace and laundry room. New bamboo flooring was irreparably damaged, installed anyway and incorrectly, twice in the laundry. Our oak hardwood floor is scratched, gouged, splintered, and embedded with cement. The appliances were cosmetically and functionally damaged. Our wood back door, jamb and security door are damaged. Glass scratched, a clip broken, brass seal torn and metal sweep pulled loose and bent.
They caused our R.O. system to rot and become contaminated. They did not protect our living areas. Course dust and debris covered everything. PMS ignored damage and denied responsibility for most of it.
No one from PMS was on-site managing the project. They allowed unfettered access to our home. We could not talk with contractors and were not consulted on important matters.
Work was unsupervised, unchecked, done improperly and poorly.
They left our home and yard a mess, threw out items, swept debris into the crawlspace.Trash sat alongside our home 4 months, removed only after asked.
PMS refused to finish the job or repair damage unless we agreed to a new contract and pay more. We did not. We offered to pay extra if they reimbursed and compensated us for damage. PMS filed a lien.
