I'm updating my initial review because Jeff has offered to repair the TV at no further charge and I'm pleased with his willingness to do that. Below is my original review-- I changed the star rating from one star to three stars. I appreciate that Jeff was intent on keeping me a happy customer. This does show that he wants to be fair.

Here is the original review:

Beware of this business! I had a TV that kept shutting itself off and Jeff assured me it was well worth repairing. At a cost of $350 I decided to not buy a new TV and instead support a small business owner and avoid putting the TV in the landfill. I was told it was under a 60-day warranty. Surprise! After a month the TV was shutting itself off again and showing the same "6-blink" issue as it had previously. Jeff wouldn't come out to pick up the TV so I brought it back myself to the shop and now he's asking for an additional $155 for further repair, saying he's not charging for labor but for the cost of the part and feels there was "surge damage". I haven't had any power surges in my home to my knowledge. What good is a warranty if you still have to pay further costs? I decided to have the TV repaired precisely because of the first price he quoted, which wasn't low to begin with. He's also often hard to reach if you have any problems, as it took me several days to contact him after I emailed and left voicemails that the unit was broken again after his initial repair. I'm very disappointed and don't know whether to pay him more money and cross my fingers that this new repair holds or just consider it a $350 loss. I had hoped to be able to tell friends to use Jeff's service for their electronics as he seemed to be a nice guy but unfortunately, I cannot recommend him to anyone now. I feel taken advantage of, quite frankly.

the worst place

The guy that fix my television charged me 350 for a television to get fix. The television was turning off by itself and he told me he fixed it ,but not really he just took my money and he i took it back like 4 Times. Never i would recommend this place.

Not only is Atlantic Electroni...

Best Electronic Repair Shop in South Jersey. Not only is Atlantic Electronic Repair one of the oldest repair businesses in the Atlantic City area, it is the most experienced shop who can be trusted with any electronic repair. I have used Jeff for many repairs, and his work has always been more than satisfactory. His rates are reasonable, and his work ethic unimpeachable. Jeff will tell you if your repair is beyond the value of the unit, and his excellent and extensive parts supply insures a quick turn around. A+++ in my book.
