A veneer is a thin layer of ceramic or composite resin, tooth-colored filling material that is applied over the tooth to improve its color and shape. A small amount of enamel is removed beforehand to improve the bond between the veneer and the tooth.

This often causes wrinkles because the muscles in our face are now working closer to the surface of the skin. Dermal fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid gel – a natural substance in the skin that gives volume and hydration. This gel is injected underneath the skin to smooth out the wrinkles and plump up certain areas of the face. They are typically injected in the bottom half of the face, in the nasolabial folds, oral commissures, and marionette lines.

I was referred to Dr.Adams by my general dentist, I was horrified that I needed to have oral surgery done. On top of all that, I know that I am a bad patient. I get scared, my jaw locks, and I’ve been known to shed a few tears. The worst part was not only that I needed surgery done, but that I was an emergency patient (didn’t have an appointment) and I’ve never been treated by this doctor before. Horror level 1000.

While in the military, he became a life member of the Association of Military Surgeon of the United States. Dr. Adams received certification in Oral Implantology from Scripps Implant Dental Education and Research Center in San Diego, California in 1991.
