I had a fantastic dining experience here last night in Little Italy! Every bite I had was delicious, from the lobster ravioli to the tiramisu, which tasted like a cloud of heaven in my mouth. In fact, the tiramisu was the best I have ever had. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza which was cooked to perfection. We sat on the patio and had a view of the art walk too! Overall all my favorite part of my experience was the staff - I felt a genuine positive vibe from everyone that passed by our table. Service was prompt, courteous and inviting. I hear they have live music on Sundays (and I think Thursdays?)... I will definitely be going back!

Amazing Italian restaurant located at the north end of little Italy. We sat in the more casual dining section booth (there is also a little more formal with dark wood paneling section). So cozy and comfortable. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. We had the special pizza for the night which had proccuito and basil and tomatoes and just was wow! We started with the garlic toast and antipasto salad which were both flavorful and generous. Ended the meal with homemade tiramisu and spumoni ice cream. Highly recommend.
I went there last night and got the spaghetti with meatballs and a couple Perroni beers, it turned out to be a great move as I had walked by this place a couple times and never really tried it...The meatballs were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing, without the pasta being overcooked or too al dente-- Id highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a solid meal at a reasonable price.
The food here is superb. I can't go on enough about it. I'm a creature of habit so I normally stick with just a few menu items. Easy favorite dish is the Penne Salmone. I have never had anything like it. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the open kitchen let's visitors connect with their food. Good jazz and blues nights weekly. Something fun to break from the norm.
Good food, good service: not sure how "Italian" it is though.Ordered the flat bread and the Schnitzel: flat bread had a cracker-style super thin crispy crust with mozz, salami, tomato and pesto. The schnitzel was pounded so thin it filled the plateAnd was not rubbery at all.Service was good too. Nice second floor space with good views.
Torpasta is unique and photogenic! That was why I brought my mom to this restaurant when we were at San Diego. We ordered the Dayna's Vegan Special and it was delicious! Food quality was great at this place, but the service was a bit slow.We saw many people ordered pizzas which looked yummy also. I will definitely try that next time!
My first visit to this restaurant and was not impressed. The sea bass had more skin than fish and the vegetables had no flavor. Her dish was a half chicken that was cold and flavor was marginal at best. The Caesar Salad was covered in thinly sliced radish and was bitter and very little dressing. Would not go back.
We love this restaurant! It's a gem in little Italy. We have visited on jazz nights and enjoyed the music, and earlier in the day to enjoy the amazing service for a quiet date on the patio. The best service, amazing food at a really great price. I'd you aren't frequenting here you should be.
First went to the restaurant under old management and didn't really care for the sauce (pretty much a make or break deal at an Italian restaurant). Since new Mgmt took over, recipes are great and lunch specials are outstanding. We find ourselves dining here nearly once a week. Worth a try!
I love this place. The pizzas are the bomb. It's a small joint with only a few employees, but I'm pretty sure the guy that owns the place and the guys that work there are real life off the boat Italians, accents and all. They know how to make Italian food. The best pizza I have had.
