Unstructured, underequipped, uneducated staff, the owner is crass and unaccommodating, the food is garbage, and it is extremely expensive. Teachers let the children run amuck. My kid has come home many times with bruises and stories of getting pushed off the play equipment, etc. Teachers always deny seeing anything. Don't send your kids here.
Worst daycare the owner is money hundry... Also new staff every week. Rude staff..and seen rats while I visit also other insect
My son has attended this daycare since he was a year old. He still goes after school. He does not have to go after school and or when days schools are closed, but he asks to go so he can play with his friends and see the teachers. He enjoys going and doing all the fun things they do. Definitely recommend sending your child here.
Never let this woman watch your kids. She left two kids in the car on a hot sunny day. She was going into the bank. An employee had to tell her that it was too hot and the kids where crying and she need to go get them. She then said "I won't be long" and "it's their bed time". The employee insisted she go get them "it's so hot" "your cars not running and unattended with all the windows up" so she did. She brought in an infant and a toddler. She then was in the bank for about another 20 mins. Everyone knows you don't leave kids unattended in a car. I was sickened. DO NOT EVER LET THIS WOMAN WATCH YOUR CHILDREN!! So many kids die a year from being left in hot cars. She could be the one that kills yours. This forced me to rate her. I would have given her no stars.
We came to the Straker daycare after a few unpleasant experiences with daycare in town. And immediately we fell in love in Marvelle's daycare. Marvelle, the owner, is the best care giver you can wish for. The daycare has a very warm and loving athmosphere. You will find a very organized, kind and fun person. Kids love her and she loves them. My daughter enjoyed this daycare for 3 years from 12 months to 4 years old. All kids including my daughter call her grandma Marvelle. Unfortunately, we had to leave the state, but we miss Marvelle's daycare and are still in contact with her and the kids almost every week. Marvelle has been certified as a child caregiver and she has a Biennial License - meaning she consistently showed excellent performance and compliance during the state audits. I will and have been recommending Straker care to everyone.Natasha.
