Tech came out solved problem with our 11 year old futnace in20 minutes. He spent the next 30 minutes trying to sell us a new furnace. The bill was $89.00 for diagnostic charge and a level one misc. Repair for $188.00. Total of $277.00 for 20 minutes of work and having to listen to a sales pitch.

I've been a Comfort Club member for a couple years now, and I have to say these guys are professional. The shoes covers go on, the guy is polite, he explains what he's going to do (not that I care that much as long as everything continues to work smoothly), and most importantly for me: the guy came right on time. on the nose.



Actually the reason I joined their maintenance plan in the first place is that I was impressed with their work when I had an emergency. My furnace went out the day before my inlaws were coming to stay. (yeah i know, so cliché) Long story short, the heat was back on before the guests arrived.

What I liked the most is that he explained what was wrong so I could understand it, and gave me three options: the bandaid fix, the complete repair, and the replacement. These were the magic words to me, because that's how the only auto mechanic I trust does things for me. (PC Auto on Rand Rd. Totally out of my way but the guy's honest, and does great work.)



I always read the negative reviews, and I have to be honest, the few negative experiences just don't jive with mine. at all. I don't know. The one guy has a point, they are not the cheapest, but I don't want the cheapest anyway. I want the best. The cheapest guys always end up costing you more in the long run.

American Weathermakers is now my go-to company for all things related to heating and cooling.



Just when I thought spring was here, the cold weather returned, and just my luck-my heat stopped working. I expected the furnace to need replacing so I braced myself for what I was sure would be an expensive day. I was wrong. American Weathermakers swapped out a part and got my heat back in working order the same day. If you want honest service, and you want it fast, these guys are your guys.

To the previous reviewer. Spoken like a true service tech. I recognize your name. This company is one of the highest costing HVAC contractors in the Midwest! Im serious! There allias is Boslough. Ive used them for 3 years until I couldnt get them to come out on a very cold saturday. I was one of their comfort club members! Look at the BBB reviews!

I would recommend to anyone to try American Weathermakers. I arrived home at 7:15pm from work just to find my house cold. I am new to the area and found the number to this company. My call was answer immediately and I gave my info to a live person with a promise that the service man on-call would return my call very soon. It only took 5 minutes for the service man to follow up. He gave me a few suggestions to check and went over what it would cost to have him come out tonight. I still needed him to come out but he was able to arrive at my house in under a hour from when I first call. The problem ended up being minor but I was impressed with the professional way I was treated. Thanks again.
