Had another awesome experience there. This time with live music!! I had the Chicken Saltimbocca and my wife had the baked Salmon with a bottle of wine. The home made soups we had as our appetizers were very delicious also!!!!

This place was horrible... Not only did we wait 30 mins for our food with only two other tables in there and that's it.. When it came.. The owner asked if we wanted cheese I said yes I do and she took a huge spoon of cheese on her own device and started to throw it on my sons food when he didn't ask for it.. My son hates cheese and started to get up set and she said it was my fault cuz I told her to put cheese on his food.. I was dumbfounded by her excuse to throw the blame on me.. And she walked away in a huff.. We asked the waitress to please take his food away and give us another plate. And she did. Then the hag of the owner and she was a bitchy old hag with grey roots and black hair.. Couldn't even look at her face it was so unattractive... With a scowl on it... She came over and started yelling all of us and was loud and disgusting and she looked and acted very uneducated to say the least ..using words of the vocabulary that didn't make sense and mis pronounced them all as well.. My daughter and son started to cry they are only 8 and 11 and she didn't care.. I asked her to leave us alone so we can eat and she said" no" we are gonna clear this up .. I said " are you kidding" we are customers and if you want business you have to bite the bullet and make sure your customers are taken care of.. She then started to scream louder like some but...We got all walked out and the waitresses look up set and her husband was looking down at the floor in shame.. And the two tables were shocked to see this crazy women . Ugh it took hours to calm my kids down.. They were shaking when we left... I have never seen anything like it in my life!! Now I know why no one was there .. Most likely we are not the first and won't be the last table of good.. Paying customers she has acting like a nut to.. I'm calling the better business tomorrow.. And writing a lot of reviews of this place to spare people from going.. Yuck !

The food is great and the service is amazing. Can't wait to go back. My favorite is Gnocchi Bolognese.

The best time I have, is going to Assantes for an excellent menu with much variety in my opinion. The pizza is terrific to say the least, my favorite dish is Gnocchi Bolongese because it is so filling with the potatoe noodle that can be changed to any pasta I desire, but it is an enourmous amount of food for the price I pay. It has beef and peas everything I'd want with and exsuperant sauce that keeps me coming back to Assantes over again. They're spagetti sauce is out of this world, and garlic bread with a dish of pesto is sure to pass a taste test. If you like fine dining you can certainly enjoy a nice meal at your own convienience. Thank-you Assantes for making this my favorite place to eat.

This restaurant is the BEST place ever. I decided to give it a try after reading this great review from the Lehigh Valley Marketplace and I was amazed. The service was great, the food was delicious and I had enough left over for lunch the next day. We started with fried calamari I had to try it, at most places my husband wont even order it, because they're chewy but at Assantes the calamari were crispy but tender, cooked just right!! For the entree I chose the risotto special with asparagus and lobster, there was so much flavor I'd never tasted at anyplace else. My husband got seafood cannelloni and he loved them. The dessert tray made me drool and I had to try the homemade tiramisu that was delightful. Our waitress was cordial and nice and we had a great experience, I cant wait to go back.!!!
