Skipper's has definitely cleaned up a bit since I first moved to town, and has gotten some needed and deserved national attention. What you expect it to be from the outside is pretty accurate to what you're going to get inside. Most of the food is very good, but their tendency to offer Basa and other Chinese or asian imported fish, when we're sitting on Tampa Bay is extremely confusing and I hate to say it: a major turn off. The fried food here is good, and the oyster bar is a trip back in time. Concerts are often and many old guard blues and jam musicians have played through the place.
i have eaten cuban sandwiches all over thr bay area never have tasted a better one.a little pricey but if you want to taste the best at cigar city brew pub. another thing he brew beer once best i have tasted and should know being a beer drinker for 60 yrs, english beers irish beers german beers no contest. besides its 1 mile from my house. thank you cigar city.
I am never disappointed with the food or service. They are very professional the food is very high quality and always fresh. This is definitely the best upper class restaurant in the area but it is still very affordable for the grade of food and service. Try the french onion soup . It if phenomenal!
The food was excellent, I was pleasantly surprised!! I had the pasta carbonara with blackened chicken, it was super fresh and tasty.
Probably my favorite place in Tampa. Thursdays are the best. Cheap wings and beer and fantastic jams :p
Not much to it. Outside deck, gazebo on the water and real genuine people
I LOVE their Greek Salad, Pepperonie Pizza, Lasagne & Garlic Bread.
Great food! Good service!
