Experienced dishonesty and other issues from the previous director. After our experience, I do not recommend this facility unless leadership has changed.

From 2006 to 2011 - My son attended from birth to age 5 when he entered kindergarten. I loved Ms K! Her lessons where always motivating and relevant to his age. He was always so happy to come home and share what he learned that day - from painting to cooking science. My favorite day was when…
They were the most inexpensive day care around and I was very excited that it was at a home daycare. I am a young mother and needed daycare for when I was at work. But after my son had been there for a few months, I've realized how lazy and unorganized they were. Since I work such odd hours I would drop off/pick up at different times each day. THEY ONLY SIT IN THEIR TWO CHAIRS THE ENTIRE DAY. I once found one of the woman ASLEEP with TWO babies (including mine) in her arms. I know for a fact that they break quite a few licensing rules since I've worked at a daycare and have been a nanny. Another time she told me that one of the 4 year old kids were pulling my 8 month old son around by his shirt and she was laughing while she told me this. When I started, they told me the kids were on two different sides of the ONLY ONE ROOM living room. But after about a week I noticed that the toddlers just ran around/over all the babies that were on the floor. My son was sick about every two days because they never sanitized their toys or beds. The cherry on top was when I dropped my son off at 11am. By the time my mother in law got there at 4:30pm, the even lazier woman was changing his diaper and put diaper rash cream on his butt. My mother in law checked him when she got home and he had a rash NOT ONLY in his crack (which is usual if a baby pooped and gets a little rash from the fruit they eat) but ALL OVER HIS ENTIRE BUTT. It was so bad that it didn't go away for 2 days with us doctoring it every 2 hours. The only way that would have happened is if they had never changed his diaper and he was sitting in a pee diaper ALL DAY. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE TO ANY NEW MOM OR FAMILY.
I had a HORRIBLE experience with the administration and owner of the daycare. The teachers are great but that is IT
I read the review but found it to be fishy so I inquired. Guess what...the lady was fired because she interviewed well but couldn't deliver the goods and was fired in 2 hours time. That's funny stuff.
I love this daycare. My daughter has been in a few during her childhood. Best by far!
I got a job as a caregiver here and walked out two hours in to my first shift. The director left me alone with the three year olds even though she had not gotten my fingerprints back (which is against the law) with no on the job training and no supervision. I witnessed both the pre k teacher and director being very verbally abusive towards the children, screaming at them, discussing parent complaints in front of them, telling a child that she didn't like him. Children around the corner from the pre k teacher completely unsupervised. There are NOT enough teachers for the amount of children to be properly supervised. The director told me the police had contacTed them multiple times because the school children were late often When riding the daycare bus. I am very glad I didn't bring my daughter with on my first day of work. They have been reported to DFPS but I felt like I needed to leave a review in hopes that parents will see. I feel very bad for the children it was not a healthy or productive environment.

My daughter has been at CCY from 6 weeks to just about four years old now. I could not have even imagined a place more perfect for both her and us as parents. Every teacher she has had as she has transitioned between classes has been 100% invested in getting to know her and care for her on a personal level. The staff is wonderful; cannot speak highly enough about any of them. My daughter recently had an injury that put her in the ER and upon her discharge, one of the staff members was waiting for her AT THE HOSPITAL on a Friday night with cards and gifts. Another teacher had a class project to give her a giant get well card from her friends, and I have had contact from almost all of the staff checking up on her daily. The daycare is a blessing! I always have peace of mind that my daughter is truly being cared for and engaged to grow and learn. The lesson plans are both fun and educational, and I know my daughter will be prepared for kindergarten. I have watched her learn so much already and form loving relationships with all of the staff, and I cannot wait to continue our experiences with this CCY and see my little girl develop more with every year! NRH Montessori is Top Notch. To Find NRH Montessori, with it's passion for Maria Montessori's Original model held by all the school's staff, has been blessing for our family. From top to bottom, the school's staff is simply excellent. We are so thankful to be teamed with this fabulous group of people to love and nurture our kids during this early formative year. Both our boys have attended the school since they were 18 months old, and we have been impressed not only by the development of each of our son's characters, but also by the educational foundation they are receiving. We know it is a foundation with deep roots of understanding that will support them as they pursue their education, no matter where their interests and passions may take them.We are incredibly thankful that our children have had the opportunity to attend NRH Montessori, and highly recommend the school to any parent interested in a first-class education in a nurturing environment.
