My experience here was disgusting. This is is a VERY rough part of town! If you love and care for you pet you should take your animal
Somewhere more safe and somewhere that has the money to invest in caring about your pet.

I've always had good, prompt service at Davis Blvd. Animal Clinic. My dog Lester likes the office staff and runs right in to be greeted. I find that the staff has been very friendly and professional. My dog doesn't like his nails clipped but the technicians there have no problem with him like they did at PetSmart. Cost a little more than PetSmart but worth every bit spent. No complaints here.

I absolutely adore the folks at Davis Blvd Animal Clinic and would not use another vet for my dogs. In the second half of 2011 my dog started having seizures out of the blue. Dr. Peek and the ladies in the front of the office were very helpful and kind. Many days I would call up there in an absoulte emotional frenzy and they would hear my theory as to why Elvis was having seizures, and then calm me down. We went to several appointments, did several tests, and he was started on phenobarbital to control the seizures. The level of concern for my pets well-being and my heart was so deep and caring that I was appalled at the reviews out there. Dr. Peek may be short in tone, but what he lacks in words he makes up for through his actions. On one of our bad days, he stood in the patient room and talked to me, the whole time rubbing Elvis's head and neck and feeding him treats. The ladies in the front office always make me laugh and smile, even through the tears. The prices may be higher than other clinics, but it's worth it for peace of mind. I highly recommend any new neighbors, employees, or acquaintances to this clinic.

Davis Blvd Animal Clinic staff and doctors have always been so very patient and kind. They have no problem answering ALL of my questions about the health of my dog . They understand how important he is to us and I could not ask for better health care for him. I can honestly say our dog is not too excited about going in the exam room (he is not fond of having his temp checked) BUT he is always very happy to visit with everyone before and after his checkup. The staff always tells him hello they know his name before I even check him in. They make me feel like our dog is as important to them as he is to us

RUDE customer service when calling to inquire about a problem with a pet!! Lady there actually hung up on my daughter while she was talking. I was a previous customer and had referred my daughter to them. They have just lost me as a customer as well as anyone else I can tell!!! My daughter ended up calling another vet and was talked to and treated with respect.

After spending some time with the employees and veterinarians at this clinic, I was appalled at the lack of time and care both animals and owners received. Appointments seemed to be packed into small time slots, and the technicians are less than hospitable or knowledgable. I called recently to get an estimate for a new addition to my family, and was told that I could "not afford" the expenses for treating a simple case of kennel cough, around and exceeding $150. I called around and most clinics charged $35-60 for an office visit, and learned that in most cases, no antibiotics or antihistimines would be needed...most cases needed to run its course. I couldn't believe that the bitter receptionist would defer me from seeking treatment at this clinic rather than just give me a viable estimate. I will NEVER take my animals back to this clinic!
To whipflip540, I find it hard to believe that someone on my staff told you that you could not afford treatment for your new addition. How would we know your finanical situation? In addition I am not aware of any practices or veternarians that opt not to treat infectious tracheobronchitis (what you refer to as kennel cough) but rather advise an owner to let it run it's course. I would like to invite you to call me personally to discuss the matter. Respectfully, Chris Peek DVM
