They were the most inexpensive day care around and I was very excited that it was at a home daycare. I am a young mother and needed daycare for when I was at work. But after my son had been there for a few months, I've realized how lazy and unorganized they were. Since I work such odd hours I would drop off/pick up at different times each day. THEY ONLY SIT IN THEIR TWO CHAIRS THE ENTIRE DAY. I once found one of the woman ASLEEP with TWO babies (including mine) in her arms. I know for a fact that they break quite a few licensing rules since I've worked at a daycare and have been a nanny. Another time she told me that one of the 4 year old kids were pulling my 8 month old son around by his shirt and she was laughing while she told me this. When I started, they told me the kids were on two different sides of the ONLY ONE ROOM living room. But after about a week I noticed that the toddlers just ran around/over all the babies that were on the floor. My son was sick about every two days because they never sanitized their toys or beds. The cherry on top was when I dropped my son off at 11am. By the time my mother in law got there at 4:30pm, the even lazier woman was changing his diaper and put diaper rash cream on his butt. My mother in law checked him when she got home and he had a rash NOT ONLY in his crack (which is usual if a baby pooped and gets a little rash from the fruit they eat) but ALL OVER HIS ENTIRE BUTT. It was so bad that it didn't go away for 2 days with us doctoring it every 2 hours. The only way that would have happened is if they had never changed his diaper and he was sitting in a pee diaper ALL DAY. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE TO ANY NEW MOM OR FAMILY.

From 2006 to 2011 - My son attended from birth to age 5 when he entered kindergarten. I loved Ms K! Her lessons where always motivating and relevant to his age. He was always so happy to come home and share what he learned that day - from painting to cooking science. My favorite day was when he was two and he proudly announced he could not only SPELL his name but write it too... what a wonderful surprise!
