Gross saugy pizza with no sauce. Frozen calamari. And your face will be black after eating this pizza.
The place is going down the toilet. Thy use to make good pizza and now they are getting very cheap with the toppings and the price is kind of expensive. Now days you can get a good pizza from 8-12 bucks. To pay 14-18 dollars for a pizza is just crazy. Don't think I will be going back any time soon see ya pizza Hut. .
I got a vegan pizza a few weeks ago. It wasn't great. The sauce had a strange flavor. This was the first time I had been to Marcos. So maybe its just the way they are. Still on the fence. But I do like the crust really really good.
Just visited this establishment on Monday, 8/31/15. I'm also from NY and am used to NY style pizza, and this was some of the worst pizza I've ever had. The cheese and sauce had absolutely NO taste to it. NY style pizza has a little grease to it which is comes from real cheese. Don't need pepperoni to get a little grease. However, the pizza dough it is made from was very good. Shame the rest was so bad. When I told the lady who worked there that I was trying to find a good NY style pizza and I would know if it was, she became very arrogant about how it wasn't freshly made and I would be heating it up so it wouldn't taste the same. I have heated many slices of NY style pizza and it is still very good. I live here in North Port now permanently and I won't be back to Oregano's. The closest I have found to be like NY style pizza is the Super Day on South McCall Road, right past El Jobean toward Englewood.
I'm from Brooklyn and love a good pizza, which they have here ... but there veal cutlet parm hero is what I order the most ... my husband loves their delicious ham and cheese call one ... I haven't found any place else around here that can match the taste of their food and the service is always friendly and quick ... LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Great food, awesome prices.. delicious!!!!!!!
Horrible service the two times I tried it. Takes long to get your food. The Manager or Owner is a bafoon.
Just got our second pizza from Zio's. They are very good - this from someone who normally makes his own. The first time was on opening night and we ate in. We noted the service needed some work but figured it would work it self out over time. This time I went to get it to take home. After ordering I waited for it to be made and after at least 30 minutes discovered that there were 2 pizzas sitting on top of the oven - one for me and one for another customer who was also waiting in the store. I had not left the store nor had the other customer, but no one bothered to give us our pizza, until we pointed them out. Also, I thought I would have a bowl of soup while I was waiting. It was excellent on opening night - so good I guess they ran out. I was told they wouldn't have any more until next week. Really ?? The pizza was good and I hope they can get their service issues figured out so that everyone can enjoy it, but without improvement in that area people are not going to go back a second time, Not sure our third visit will be any time soon.
