I HATE THIS COMPANY and this was my first time using this website! MY FIRST AND MY VERY LAST, I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! Their customer service representatives are terrible. When I called to obtain a RAN to return the hair, I had a " supervisor" talk over me and hang up the phone on me twice, because she made the mistake of sending the wrong color hair to me. Their refund policy sucks! I will NEVER use this website again. Please be careful and stay away from this company! Is there a button to click less than 1 star for their rating?
I shop via the internet all the time. I rarely have a problem and have never been unable to resolve a problem until I placed an order with HOB. One item I ordered was on backorder--without my permission they sent part of my order. I sent it back and two months later, I still have not received a refund. I have e-mailed and talked to customer service more than 10 times.
NO REFUNDS! Ridiculous prices! Stay away from the Franklin Mills Mall location! This place is a complete rip-off! One bottle of perfume is up to $50.00, where at other stores the entire set (perfume, lotion, travel size, body wash) costs less! The policy doesn't honor returns, but it does honor exchanges. I will never purchase anything from this store, unless my life depended on it!!!
NO STAR RATING would be appropriate. I ordered a hair dryer online on June 21, 2013. I got an email TWO DAYS later confirming my order. That should have been a clue about the way this company does business. I tried calling the toll-free number listed on the email and it was always busy. I found the local number and contacted CS. The woman was unprofessional and seemed bored. She said the hair dryer was discontinued and would I like something else. The company should have contacted me immediately to let me know. If I didn't call them, would they ever call me? Shop somewhere else!
HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE!!! I wanted a Bobbi Boss wig, Henna, and couldn't find the color I wanted from my usual go-to website. I found the color "In Stock" on House of Beauty World.....way over priced, I might add, but I bought it anyway. I have been shopping online for years and so I never thought this would happen to me. They sent me a confirmation Email and 2 days later, a shipment confirmation, but with no tracking number. I decided to call one of their numbers but of course, it only rang. I then called a different number and spoke to a very rude Chinese guy. I tried explaining to him that I was told my item was SHIPPED but he kept telling me my item was out of stock. Ummmmm what?! How do you ship an out of stock item? He started yelling at me over the phone to the point where I had to lower my volume so I wouldn't bother anyone around me. I was humiliated. I told him that I was a costumer and I did not appreciate the way he was treating and talking to me. My order was $59 with "free ground shipping". I'm glad I didn't shell out for overnight or anything else. I know $59 may not be a lot of money but there are so many things the money could of gone towards instead of this scamming low life scummy so called company. Do not order anything from them! I hope this company gets shut down. Surprised they haven't already. Doesn't even deserve a tip of a star.
The customer service in this place is the worst. Someone please close this place down.

House of Beauty World (Philadelphia) - Stay Away From This Compnay!!!!They shipped me the wrong product and penalize me for their error!!!. I called to advised that there was a problem with the order and was advised that the item was discontinued so they shipped me an item they shipped what they wanted me to have (an item that's remotely close to the item I ordered). I shipped the item back and received a partial refund 3 weeks late. I called and was given three different numbers regarding refunds...no one answers...I've tried calling 215.576.6861; no one answered this line. So I called their toll free number back and guess what no one answered either. So I searched the internet for other numbers and came across one...well someone answered and I was advised to contact the manager via an email address This time someone answered and I was advised that he will look into and call me back after lunch. Well two lunch days have passed and I still waiting and of course no one is answering the 215 number again. Not only am I paying for re-stocking; they're also not refunding one of the items claims, a slip was missing...I explained that that's how the item was shipped. I'm still waiting for a response via email and telephone. I Strongly Discourage Any and Everyone From Doing Business With House of Beauty World!!!!
