Love this place!
Helpful staff. The decoration strikes a perfect balance between warm&welcoming and elegance. Owner Chef is always friendly and gracious. Most importantly, THE FOOD:
Always have a hard time deciding what to get because everything we've ordered here has all been really good and worth repeating (over and over and ov...) so we usually get some of the ol' faithful and try some new things as well. Oishi Thai never disappoints.

My family and I simply love this restaurant! We have been going to Oishi Thai for just over five years. The food has never been anything less than wonderful and the owner and his staff are always courteous and attentive. It is my seven year old daughter's favorite restaurant. Anytime she asked where she would like to eat it is always at "" Mr. B's"" I can not think of one thing to complain about. If you are looking for great food at a good price, excellent service and a great ambiance...look no further.

Our clients and staff at Audi and Lamborghini love to go this neighborhood Thai restaurant. The chef owner is always there to greet and prepares the food and the service is always prompt. Prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is clean. The food served in this little gem is delicious! We are loyal customers :)

I am a self-proclaimed connoisseur of Thai Food, a lover of food, a gourmand, plain and simple. With that being said, I have to express my utter satisfaction and love with the deliciously scrumptious fare that is served up by Chef Bee of Oishi Thai. I have eaten there now numerous times, and will go back, again and again. I love it! Everything I have had is AMAZING! Black Cod Miso is moist, flavorful, sweet, salty, DELICIOUS. The Pacific Oyster is creatively divine. I could go on and on, but I will let you discover this gem for yourself.

Chef Bee's food is made with an exceptional attention to ingredient sourcing, respect for seasons, offers sensational taste calibration and his own magic touch, careful execution of the cuisine and a high level of originality and style. Every meal, every dish continues to be an outstanding demonstration of Chef Bee's culinary versatility and culinary art. Consistently the BEST in Miami.

So far everything we have tried has been wonderful. The sushi is always fresh and it is exciting when you try something new and you find another favorite dish to add to your list. The black cod was SUPERB! melts in your mouth and was so good we had to order another so everyone could try.Another great find was the crispy duck and is served with a great sauce. (This is my husbands favorite) The rock shrimp you could eat and eat and eat. now for the desert they are all good ( we know because we have tried them all) but I must say the fried ice cream is the BEST. As for the service all we can say is it is what service should be and then some.

Oishi Thai is the best Thai/Japanese restaurant in South Florida and is also one of the very best restaurants of any kind in South Florida. The moment that you enter this beautifully designed restaurant, you are graciously greeted by very friendly, beautifully dressed wait staff and family members who treat you like you are their family. The food is absolutely the very best as far as taste, presentation and freshness. Zagat Guide agrees: their 2009 rankings rate the food at Oishi Thai as the best in Miami, ahead of Michy?s, Palm d?Or, Prime 112, Nobu, etc.

You'll be pleasantly surprised and satisfied after eating at Oishi Thai located in North Miami Beach. The Kobe beef is better here than more expensive restaurants! The sushi is extremely fresh & cooked items such as frogs legs & sea bass will far exceed your expectations. The wait staff is competent without hovering. Bring the kids, since Oishi Thai is very child-friendly. The proud owner, formerly from Nobu, will offer outdoor seating soon to accommodate smokers and dog owners.

In North Miami Beach, you will be totally surprised by the incredible food and ambience at Oishi Thai! The owner and chef is formerly from Nobu, which should prepare you for an outstanding dining experience. The extensive menus, one for Japanese food and one for Thai food, will allow you to select from a variety of dishes that I promise you to be from Heaven! Start with the dumplings, seaweed salad or an array of appetizers, to be accompanied by a very impressive wine selection, available also by the glass. Sushi is so fresh that you think that you are in Japan! Oishi Thai was rated by 'Zagat Miami So. Florida Restaurants 2009' a '29' for food: Nobu only received a '27'!!! If you want better food at lower prices, without the snotty attitude of Nobu, have an memorable meal at Oishi Thai ASAP. The locals (who know great NYC restaurants) already know that it is fantastic ~ reservations are recommended on weekends ~ come once & you will be a 'regular' very soon!

This Japanese/Thai restaurant has a higher rating on Zagat than Nobu, and Zagat is very picky!! The owner and chef, Bee, was a former chef from Nobu but he made his cozy & classy restaurant better with fresher fish, better service and great ambiance. The interiior is understated elegance with comfort in mind. Bee oversees his chefs and wait staff to insure that your dining experience will be extremely enjoyable from beginning to end. Try the delicate Kobe Beef, Teriyaki Lobster Tails, Tuna Tataki, Soft Shell Crab, Wanton Soup, and the incredible Frog Legs. Excellent wine list and supurb wait staff that do not 'hover' but somehow anticipates your needs. Freshest seafood in Florida that is shipped in from Japan daily ~ you won't be disappointed ~ only surprised to find this little piece of Japanese-Sushi Heaven in North Miami Beach Florida!! My husband, Rod, and I are gourmet foodies and eat here every week: TRY IT ~ YOU WILL RETURN!! Do yourself & your loved ones a favor and treat yourselves to an incredible meal at Oshi Thai (305-947-4338). Cathy White

Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Wide variety of Japanese and Thai dishes but the Thai seems to be the specialty here. The black cod and Pad Thai are excellent. The sushi is very good with a nice selection of sake to complement. I've been here several times and will be back several more.
