I called Jonny, the owner, about one year ago in a desperate attempt to get a survey on a boat I was trying to purchase. Despite his full schedule (and a good amount of pleading on my behalf) he made last minute accomodations to come to the boat and take oil samples, perform a compression test and review general shape of the motors. This first experience with him and his associate, Kenny, left me very confident that this was where I wanted to have the boat repaired and maintained moving forward. Jonny went through the motors and all the systems to ensure the boat would be seaworthy, taking advantage of getting other work done in tandem with a non related haul out. Since that boat, Jonny helped walk me thru a recent purchase of a vintage tender that was notorious for having costly issues if not maintained properly and abused through heavy usage. He helped me avoid some stupid and impulsive decisions with his blunt honesty and expertise while patiently helping me find the "right boat".

I've taken my 2001 30' Proline Express to 4 different marinas in the area over the 8 years I've owned the boat, and without a doubt Johnny/Miami Marine Specialists have been the best and most fair I've encountered. I've used them to upgrade my audio equipment, upgrade the wiring/electronics on my two Mercury outboards and countless other repairs. They've been extremely patient with myself and my father, who isn't the easiest to work with. I've brought up parts/repairs and they've flat out told me I didn't need them, even though they would have made more money by doing so. Years later, my boat is still running strong and I can't help but to credit it to these guys. I even had issues once after a repair (because of my own dumb fault) and Johnny personally came to my house to check out the boat, which ended up being entirely user error. Fact is... boats are expensive and they'll always need repairs. At least with these guys you know you're only paying what you have to. Can't recommend these guys enough.

My name is dan warren and I have a 15 hp mercury outboard that has plagued me with running issues. I gave it to Miami Marine Specialists and they "repaired" it. After paying the bill I took it to an outing where it ran for 5 minutes and then died. I returned it to the shop and they spent 2 weeks rebuilding the carb and spent a ton of labor to finally get it going. After getting it back, it has run flawlessly and they did not even charge me another penny. These guys a great. Trust them with your job and they will give you what you pay for and then some.

I have a mercury outboard motor that needed service and they were fast and very affordable. They came as a recommendation and lived up to the bill.

Johnny and his team were excellent. The shop is right at Keystone Point. Straightforward, attentive and clear (and less expensive than others I had looked into). They tell you what's wrong, how much to fix it, and how long it will take. They back up their work work. I had a little issue afterwards - turned out to be a new, minor problem- but they jumped on it immediately. These guys are the best!

Great service and excellent prices

Great service!! They fixed my motor same day and gave me a better price than the other places I got quotes from. Also educated me on how to actually maintain my motor because I'm a complete dummy when it comes to this stuff! Highly recommend these guys! Thanks guys!!

I had many bissues with my engines and had gone to 2 other places for repair. Miami Marine Specuialists solved them in a timely fashion and have not had issues since. the staff was very knowkledgeable and courtious. they called me with an estimate and had me on the water quickly. I would recomend them for service

to anyone whos needs professionals to work on there boat engines.
