I am one of the owners of New Horizon Apartments. I have dedicated over 40 years of my my life with helping people find an apartment home. The negative post listed below was one of those people I tried to help. We provided her with an apartment home which was clean and in great condition when she took occupancy. We provided her with fast, professional service during the time she occupied the apartment. However, after she decided she would no longer pay her rent, we were forced to evict her. She left owing a considerable amount of money and damaged our property. When she left, she decided to post unkind and untruthful statements about the management and the property. We are sorry that we were unable to keep her as a resident
I am a college student and was looking for a studio apartment to save money. I found the perfect apartment at New Horizon and was surprised that the electric bill was reasonable. I have to drive a little further to get to school, but the money I save on rent more than makes up for the extra distance. Also, the security alarm helped me save money on my apartment insurance and also makes me feel safer at night. The apartments are not brand new, but were very clean and comfortable. The apartments also allowed me to bring my cat, Monroe, to live with me. I feel that I got the best deal at New Horizon and rate them 5 stars!
My family and I lived at New Horizon for several years and always found the office staff to be friendly and helpful. If I had a maintenance problem in my apartment, it was almost always taken care of the same day I called. Once I experienced a lay-off for several weeks, and the management was very kind to work with me regarding my rent payments. They helped me additionally by not charging any late fees. After my husband and I bought a home and vacated our apartment, my deposit was promptly refunded. I would recommend New Horizon to anyone looking for an apartment home. You are not just a tenant to New Horizon--you become part of their apartment family!
