I had a good experience with Broadstone Indigo until it came to move out. The management has poor communication skills. We moved out on November 1st and the management said that as a courtesy, we had until November 3rd to turn in our keys. They did not state that I would have to pay for the 1st through the 3rd. I went in on the 3rd, turned in my keys and asked how much I owed them. They told me the amount for the water and the prorated amount for November 1st. I made out the check on the spot. The assistant manager told me they would bill me for the rest of the water bill. She said nothing about having to pay for the 2nd and the 3rd. I just got a bill in the mail saying I owe them not only for the water, but for November 2nd and 3rd. I called and talked to the assistant manager and the manager for about an hour and a half about the miscommunication. They are saying that they can't credit me for those two days because the computer won't let them. That is crap! They never told me I would be charged for November 2nd or 3rd the two times I talked to them. (November 1st and 3rd when I went in.) Now the assistant manager is telling the manager that she did tell me about having to pay those two days. So the apartment sat empty for 2 days and my mom and I went in Monday morning and deep cleaned the apartment above and beyond what we should have and they are now telling me that if they told their computer I moved out on Saturday that they would have to charge me $200 for a cleaning fee as if I didn't clean it at all. Soooooo beyond frustrating to me. So no matter how much I complain and put up a fight, I still have to pay for those two days. I will never refer anyone to this complex again due to a lack of professionalism and not owning up to their mistake.
