As my title states, I can't complain about this place. I thought the sushi was delicious and it was fairly priced (unlike a lot of sushi places). One thing I'm a stickler about although I know I'm eating fish, I hate it if I can physically smell and taste a fishy sashimi. If you like to eat sushi, you will know what I am talking about. This place did not have any of that nonsense which I really appreciate. It was fresh, yummy with a nice price tag. I live really close by here so I try to come when I can. The staff is really friendly and treat me like a regular although I've only been 2 times so far! Stop by and check it out...

I just read the reviews for this place from ""isthar"" and ""tech9lab"" and couldn't believe it! Listen people, don't take advice from someone who spells stupid with an e...Bad news. And for the love of god ignore anyone who uses phrases like ""good to worst"". I'd like to know what middle school these people graduated from.
The bottom line is that this place is awesome, especially if you live in the neighborhood. The sushi is always fresh, their all-you-can-eat menu is amazing and the staff is really cool. If you live down the street and visit there often (like I do) they treat you like family, but even if it's your first time the service is great. I lived down the street for five years and went to Miyako all the time, they loved me there. I recently moved back to the neighborhood and, even though they didn't remember me, treated me very well. Oh, and they're attached to an equally awesome Chinese restaurant (Dragon Street) that delivers from both restaurants!
Don't listen to these two idiots. If they got bad service it was because they were probably a-holes. Notice the only one who complained about the food was the same genius who said things like ""i do not like cold fry food"". This place is great (as long as you're not a retarded, demanding, 8th grader). Bon Appetit!

I visited the restaurant on a tuesday night and once I walked in I said hello to a tall asian man who i assumed was a server and he simply looked at me and the sushi bar & we were very buched up even for me as i am very petite. The sushi chef prepared our sushi very quickly so we decided to order food from the kitchen and received our food burned. The waitress took back the burn food and insisted in taking the entire plate and 20 minutes she came back with hot white rice and beef ribs but the tempura vegetables had gotten cold and i do not like cold fry food. I assumed that she could have taken back the burned food back and allowed us to finish eating the non burned food like the salad. I did not complain about this because the waitress looked anoyed & looked at me with such a stupied look. The staff said good night to everyone as they left the restaurant and once we left it was dead silent and it was obvious that they were not the ""friendly staff"" they fake to be. I will never go back for mediocre food and average sushi. The restaurant is small and i would not recommed this place to anyone.

Miyako has been a great find for us- we finally have reasonably priced sushi worth eating in NoHo. The quality of the rolls can vary depending on the chef (the older man has the least English but makes totally amazing, nuanced sushi, seems to be there early in the week), but the ingredients are always fresh and I've never had anything bad there. They're focusing more on their all-you-can-eat service, but make sure you get a full menu if you order a la carte, as there are a few special things that aren't on the smaller menu. It can get crowded on weekend nights but we've never had to wait for a seat. All staff is friendly and accommodating. Give it a shot!
