HORRIBLE experience! I took my kitty here and mentioned that I wanted to get an itemized breakdown of things before agreeing to them, and Dr. Wisa seemed amicable to that, then went ahead and started popping into the next room and doing procedures without mentioning costs. Then, when I mentioned the need for the breakdown, as I was student at the time, without a lot of money, he got really angry and blew up at me about how he'd have to keep my cat until I could pay for anything. They held my cat ransom for nearly a week, and when I picked her up, FECES AND URINE were literally matted in her fur, and she was incredibly out of it and seemed traumatized. WORST EXPERIENCE AT A VET EVER! Their boarding services are disgusting and inhumane! And communication is horrific! Oh, and did I mention that he tried to convince me to have her get need an expensive, invasive surgery that she most certainly didn't need at all, after getting second opinions. Don't let your pet go into this nightmare facility that clearly prioritizes PROFITS OVER PETS!

I will definitely recommend this clinic to every one i know.Dr Wisa is so patient he and his staff very welcoming and Dr wisa will give your pet all the care and time .truly i would recommend it if you love your pet and want to give them the best care .

Boomer (my cat) has been a patient of Dr. Wisa for over a year. I couldn't be happier with the care and treatment he has received. Boomer was a very sick kitty and the treatment he received was life-saving.\nThe staff at Berkley is wonderful - very friendly and warm. I would recommend this pet hospital to everyone!!!\n

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Wisa for almost a year and I couldn't be happier. He is always so kind and sweet to the dogs and is always looking out for their best interest while keeping it affordable. I have seen many vets and most of my experiences have been that they have one foot out the door when you walk in. Dr.Wisa always gives us the time we need and another great thing about his practice is the staff. He has the nicest people working with him.\nThank you guys for taking such good care of Sally and Frankie!

Dr. Wisa and his staff were wonderful when it came to my chihuahua Shakira. Shakira is a 6-yr old rescue I adopted in May and is still very afraid of people and won't let anyone near her. Dr. Wisa performed life-saving surgery on her before I adopted her so I feel most comfortable taking her to him. I had to take Shakira to get her nails clipped because she was so neglected before and her nails were very, very long. Dr. Wisa and his staff took very good care of her. I'm grateful to him and his staff for the care they give to animals and for taking care of my baby.
That it is a nice, clean pet hospital who has treated my animals for the past 30 years. My husband and I were clients of the original owner in 1979 when we moved into this area. We had the second owner, Dr. Kirvoy who was wonderful, as a vet for our two cats and two dogs, and now we have a pug puppy named Murphy, We met the new owner, Dr, Wisa, and he is KIND and i am looking for KIND doctor with my animal that I love dearly and the staff was nice and took care of business, I haved referred this business and Dr. Wisa and staff because my pets have always been well taken care of there and I am extremely happy with the new owner!

I didn't originally come here to write a review. Rather, this site just came up in Google when I was searching for the phone number for my Vet. But I just had to register and refute the reviews above. I'm baffled that someone would think that the people there are rude. My experiences have always been warm and positive. In fact, I travel past quite a few vet offices just to get to this place because I appreciate the fact that the Dr. actually takes time to explain things to me. The techs are very sweet and they always remember my Dog by name. Also, I have never been asked for my SSN, nor have I been kept waiting for an appointment. \n\n-Erika
This is the worst Animal Hospital I have ever been to.
The staff was rude, incompetant, and completely apathic to my dog's situation.
After waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time, I was put in a room where a tech came and dragged my dog out of the room away from me.
When I questioned where she was taking him she told me they never examine the animals in the room with the owner!
Another twenty minutes later, Doctor came in gave me back my dog but had no time to explain anything or answer any of my questions.
Furthermore, they shaved my dog's neck and took a lab sample without even asking first!
I was sent home and told I would get a call the next day with lab results.
Three days later I was left a messages that the levels were normal?
This is what I get for $300.00!
I went to another Hospital that remedied my dog's problem with out any labwork at all.

This isn't a true review because I've never actually met the Dr. but his staff is incredibly rude and incompetent! I went there to get flea meds for my dog; they wanted me to fill out an application including my social security number! (Hello! I can get the meds over the 'net or at Petco) I refused to give them my SS# and they made a big stink about it. I had a voucher for 1 free month of Frontline Plus with the purchase of 6 months from the vet and they refused to take it! They also refused to sign the paperwork--I had to go back the next day and try and get them to sign it. They also wanted to take my insurance papers and fax them to insurance themselves and get paid directly! (That's not the way it works--I pay 100%, fax in papers and get reimbursed) Suffice it to say, I never received my free month of meds and the front staff are a bunch of ""know it all's"" who are just office workers--NOT vet techs who dispense their own opinions on everything from medication to operations! (They even bad talk the medications that the Dr. prescibes!) I would never give Dr. Krivoy my time because it would take forever to get to him after the horrible experience with his staff. NO THANK YOU!

Dr. Krivoy and his staff are both caring and compassionate towards both the pets and pet owners. I have taken my pets there for over 15 years now. The staff is personable and treats everyone like human beings rather then just the next invoice. Dr. Krivoy has been treating my dogs and cats, and on the rare occassion that something extraordinary had cropped up Dr. Krivoy does not hesitate to refer you on to a specialist. I apopreciate that he is secure enough to tell you to get another look. I trust him and his staff. I moved out of the neighborhood but still drive back the 15 miles to take my pets to him. I just can't find another vet that I am as confortable with to treat my beloved pets.
