I really wanted to like this place after seeing pics online. I wasn't disappointed with the atmosphere, very well designed and put together. The food can use an upgrade. The charcuterie board was limited in quantity and lacking. Especially for the price. The bartenders were not the friendliest, but our waitress was great.
This is a super cute place in NOHO. You can bring your dog! I went for a birthday brunch and the drinks were pretty good. Great prices for morning drinks. The mimosas are pretty good and I also tried the Bloody Mary, which was good too. I've had better though. The food was just mediocre. The bread pudding was amazing! We had two orders because it was so good. I would definitely go back because it was such a warm and fun atmosphere. My friend had the breakfast burrito, and I'll probably order that next time. She loved it.Service was great. The waitress was super understanding when two of my friends didn't like their Bloody Mary's.
Stumbled across this restaurant in an unlikely location, next door to a car wash, but you'd never know it from inside -- the windows are all facing the other way, the parking lot is large and clean, and the interior/vibe reminds me a bit of Floyd's 99 barbershop (in a good way.)The food was good -- I have been there twice, once for a shockingly good burger, and once for a "californication" salad that was unexpectedly spicy, large and filling -- and the staff is friendly. The best part is the lemonade, which is delicious, comes in mason jars, changes daily, and comes with free refills (rare for a restaurant at this price point with fancy lemonades.)The menu has two surprise options, where the staff will deliver a meal or a desert of their own devising, but I haven't tried it yet. I intend to!If you bring kids, be warned; the music gets a bit inappropriate, although the staff hit "skip" to the next song pretty quickly when an Eminem track with a LOT of swearing popped up. :D
They've been out of pumpkin scones for days during peak season and pumpkin spice latte I ordered had a half inch of room in the cup and another half inch of foam. Wasn't a happy camper
This is such a yummy restaurant! We love the chicken & waffles! The chicken has a wonderful taste & the waffles are the best I've had!!! The biscuits & gravy are also a big hit! Everything we've had here is delicious! It is a small place with a total local joint vibe & feel. They are very busy in the mornings so there is often a wait to sit as well as for the food... but it is worth it!!!!!!
Who doesn't love Starbucks?! This is one of my favorites. The open 430am 6 days out of the week and best part is they have a drive thru!! Parking is small so its usually pretty busy but great location just north of the 101 Fwy on ramp. Get your coffee or tea and off to work in a flash!
Looks small but once inside there's a bar and some tables inside and they have a whole outdoor seating area with vines and mist spray. We had a friends birthday here and they were very accommodating. We sat in the regular seating but they also offer a private room for about 30 people you can rent out. We ordered a bunch of snack food but it was so good! Tasty and reasonable priced. Good drinks too.
Starbucks is Starbucks, but Danny is awesome and remembers everyone, which makes it even better. I am thrilled the construction is completed and everything looks wonderful.
The Front Yard is very classy and yet casual all wrapped in one. Lovely patio to sit and enjoy a meal or a lovely indoor space to enjoy. Connected to the Beverly Garland Hotel. Love the atmosphere. Way cool. The food is very tasty and they have a good wine selection, although I did think my glass of wine was kinda pricey. Great for a weekend brunch with kids, happy hour with friends, or a nice evening date.
This was a bad experience all around. When we first got there... My 3 yr old (potty-training) son said he had to go pee... After walking back & finding out we needed a key... I told the gal at the register & she told me to wait! I pointed to my son & had an urgent look on my face but she continued to finish the other person's order! Now I normally would respect this.... But it's obvious he needs to go!The place was very hot. After ordering... We waited FOREVER! The ppl behind us got theirs & were almost finished eating b4 we got ours. Then to top it all off...I notice one of the workers chowing down on wings... Right in the kitchen where they are making mine. Oooookay... But WHERE'S MY FREAKIN FOOD!!!!!We both were so over waiting. Finally after getting it home, the garlic-parm wings had a great flavor, but not very meaty. The hot ones were just ok. The chicken strips were quite good tho, but what a disappointment overall! Very irritated 1st time cust.
