I've bought a Toyota Prius a few weeks back from S&R Motors in Hayward, I've had one of the best experiences of buying a car at this used car dealership, their manager's comes with lots of experience, he is very honest, took his time and answered all my questions, I've almost got into a fist fight at a few other dealership, a few franchise dealers in San Jose and a few pre-owned dealers in Dublin. I've got a great car at a great price, I'm a USAA member and S&R Motors is a USAA certified dealer, offered me upfront member discount pricing, and also got a USAA member discount rate since I've bought a car from S&R motors. Factors that I've liked through this purchase: Upfront great pricing based on the market (I've found their prices to be cheaper than LA dealers), Quality Cars, Great customer service, very friendly environment, and fast service!!! They've finished up my paper works in 15 minutes which compared to my last Toyota that I've purchased at Capitol Toyota, they've beat them by 3 hours.Thank you guys for taking care of us and for being so welcoming. We recommend S&R Motors to any car buyers out there, and we are planning to come back a few years down the road ourselves.I've just picked up my plates from S&R Motors, they've put my plates on for me and gave me a free car wash as well! Suzuki decided to issue two recalls (master brake cylinder and rectifier) last year and being the lazy bum I am, I finally got around to finding a shop to do the work (alarmingly fading front brakes helped to remind me). Called around the peninsula and found a dealer in San Mateo that straight up told me they didn't want any more work but couldn't refuse me... fat chance in hell I was going to take my bike in there. Gave Eastbay motorsports a call and Josh took my VIN over the phone and scheduled me to drop off my bike on a Friday, easy professional service so far. Coasted in after work on Friday, Patrick and Josh at the service desk got me set up and called in to check for the parts. Estimated a Sat pick up if they had everything. Unfortunately they didnt, that is until Ryan happened to remember having one last rectifier on the back of a shelf. Ryan then offered to get the work banged out on my gixxer in a hour so I didn't have to sweat bullets walking in my leathers to the Bart station. Talk about quick service! Beyond my expectations.Also, Patrick has a sweet tooth so don't be surprised if he offers you a cookie out of his stash.Will be back for future services, probably some tires next now that I have working brakes to hit highway 9 with.
I just have to say that we bought a Spyder on Sat everything was going well until today. My husband was gettig use to it so he could drive it to work for mileage factor and he wanted a toy. We couldn't drive it home so the owner (Phil) and Tyler brought it to our house. Dennis drove it all dayy on Sunday geting use to it and then he went out on MOnday iand it wouldn' start at all. I called Calle (the Finance Manager) at home and she got right on it. Within minutes we had Phil, Sean and someone else calling us. Calle is the one that made all the call all day and by early afternoon we had Sean here and he got it going for us. It had a blown fuze. I just cain't thank them all enough to take their time out of a Holiday weekend and help us like they did. Calle, I thank you so much and Phil, and Sean. It was an toghter team and they made it happen. e are now happy very happy. Dennis can drive it to work tommorrow and I would recommend anyone to this dealership. They did over and above to us very happy and to be able to do what we st out to do when we bought it. We looked around a lot of different dealerships to buy our motorcycles.. Despite the bad reviews, finally decided to call East Bay Motorsports and spoke with "Guy" in sales. He did not fall short of being awesome the entire time. Funny, laid-back, friendly, and accommodating. First of all he did not waste my time with typical sales BS. He was concise with what he could and could not deliver on final pricing, he promptly followed up as we had planned and before I knew it...I was up there buying two sports bikes at the best price available in the east bay.Now don't we all always look for a little bit of extra in customer service? Well...We got a full tour of the service department, Marty the floor manager kept us company with his great sense of humor and insightful comments. At the end of the day, when the store was closed they stayed late to get our bikes ready and Phil the owner helped rode one of the bikes back to my house "JUST TO HELP OUT".I recommend these guys and will definitely go back for any future purchases. Huge inventory of bikes and accessories, knowledgeable and friendly staff....and if anyone has to wait on a busy day....I'd say is definitely worth it.
5/09/2013I read the reviews on Honda of Hayward that were so positive I drove all the from Lodi just to see if the proof was in the pudding because I was looking a particular Honda model/ color at a certain budget. Mr. Alvin Lee (internet manager) was the first person I contacted via phone and that same day I received an emailed from him that he could meet my vehicle request while targeting my budget. I then met with Annamarie Nweke (internet manager) who followed thru with Mr. Alvin's written email to me. What a relief this was for me as I initially thought they were going to pull the switch and bait game from bad experiences with past dealerships. The financial manager name Johnny Phan explained all the terms of the contract to which I was greatly satisfied. In addition, before driving off in my dream car ,I given some tech support by Julian Polanco on how to work the cars hi-tech computer system. What a great team that treats you with great service. i have only had one experience with EBM, but i felt i was treated well and got a fair deal. i was dreading going in, having read some of the reviews here. i called ahead to see if they had the bike i was interested in. i was a little disappointed to find out they don't offer test rides, but then a 5 mile test ride doesn't tell me much anyway. i made them an offer, we went back and forth a bit, then agreed on a price that i think was fair. suzuki was giving a screaming deal on financing, so even though i was planning to self finance i went with the deal. it was painless really.i was pleased that they have so many women working there. i have seen dealerships with zero female employees. motorcycle shopping can be intimidating enough and women represent 23% or the motorcycle owners in the usa. so it is nice to see women working in the industry.
I am thoroughly satisfied with the customer service, most especially with the help I received from your sales representative Paul Conner. I believe that he embodies everything about great customer service--great knowledge in your products, a willingness to really spend time with the customer, a desire to truly know and appreciate the person, and a sincere interest in getting potential customers on the most suitable bike--all the while trying to strike up' a deal which culminates in a win-win situation. Paul truly goes out of his way to make the shopping experience what it should be--informative and pleasurable, and (on the business end) profitable. He and other sales reps' at East Bay' are the types of people that inspire customers (or shall I say future clientele) to keep coming back'. All told', I'm very pleased with the great service.
Fantastic experience! I bought a new, quasi adventure bike (honda cb500x) this weekend. Felt I received a fair/totally reasonable price! In fact, I'm totally stoked! No problems at all with sales IMO! Marty was great! Both me and the bike were out of there in record time. Bike is killer, exactly what i wanted. personally-wish the cbx had a bit more top speed in stock form honda. Still, awesome bike! Bought 2016, eleven NEW changes i spotted over 2015! Kudos to the financing staff as well. I wanted to ride home today, in 2hours or less even!! However, it turns out I'm a hack with an expired debit card. nearly thwarted my purchase and weekend riding plans. Finance got me a totally reasonable 60month loan program, quickly, and the keys! Awesome day for me! Thanks EBM! My second bike purchase here in 6years!
I surprisingly had a very good experience here, since people seem to have mixed reviews about this place.I always heard the showroom here was definitely a place to visit even if you're not intending to buy. They have the largest selection of pwc's I've seen in the bay area. We bought a 2008 Seadoo RXP-X. Our sales person, Gil, was awesome. He had a positive friendly vibe and he was extremely helpful with our questions. For sure, he was not the normal saleperson that is stereotypically out there to waste peoples time. Our transaction went very smoothly. We knew what we were looking for and the price we wanted to pay. We were very clear on that, perhaps that's why everything went without complications. We left the same day with our Seadoo. Overall, I would recommend a friend to buy here.

I had this happen one year ago and took it to Contra Costa Power sports where I had bought the bike, which turned out horrible from both a repair and customer service standpoint. This last time Kawasaki suggested East Bay Motorsports and I couldn't be happier with the job they have done. Ryan the service manager listened to my concerns and was upfront and kept the line of communication open throughout the whole process. Within a month, the warranty authorized rebuild was done and now the bike is performing better than when I originally bought it. I would suggest anyone in the East Bay Area, take your bike here where you will be treated as a customer with honesty and great service.
