Crowns
Before you get started, your dentist will determine if CEREC® is right for you. Depending on how much healthy tooth structure you have remaining, it may be a simple filling or you may need a crown. After reviewing your options, the dentist will begin the process by administering anesthetic and preparing your tooth for restoration by removing decay and weakened tooth tissue.
Bridges
Adult teeth may be lost due to a variety of reasons. These include advanced periodontal disease, trauma or decay. If missing teeth are not replaced, your other teeth can drift out of position. The area also becomes more susceptible to gum disease and decay of the surrounding teeth. Removable bridges, also known as partial dentures, are not permanently affixed to neighboring teeth, instead fastening to them with clasps. Dentures
An immediate denture is a complete denture or partial denture inserted on the same day, immediately following the removal of natural teeth. Immediate dentures (also called temporary dentures) are actually made before the natural teeth are extracted. The patient walks into the office with natural teeth, and walks out with false teeth. The teeth are extracted, and a prefabricated denture is inserted immediately, while the patient is still numb from the extractions.

Dental Implants
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants may be an option for people who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason.

Dr. Pucci limits his practice to periodontics with specialized services in surgical implant dentistry. As a periodontist, Dr Pucci has been specially trained in both surgical and non-surgical procedures to eliminate gum diseases, soft tissue grafting procedures to correct gum recession and root sensitivity, and bone grafting procedures that enhance the amount of bone support around teeth. His training also includes bone regeneration procedures to enhance the amount of bone in areas of the jaw where there are missing teeth.

Orthodontics
Dr. Lazaroff is certified in CEREC Dentistry. This is a specialty SINGLE visit computerized all porcelain restorations such as crowns, veneers and onlays. Dr. Lazaroff is a member of the New Haven Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy Of Implantology, and many others. Dr. Lazaroff is the owner and operator of The North Haven Dental Group located at 17 Broadway, North Haven for the past 28 years. He continued his education in dentistry at Tufts School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1990. During his 28 years as a North Haven dentist Dr. Lazaroff has completed 208 hours of continuing education earning a degree of Orthodontics from The International Association Of Orthodontics.

Teeth Whitening
Most of us start out with sparkling white teeth, thanks to their porcelain-like enamel surface. But over the years enamel is worn down, becoming more transparent and permitting the yellow color of dentin – the tooth’s core material – to show through. During routine chewing, dentin remains intact while millions of micro-cracks occur in the enamel. It is these cracks, as well as the spaces between the crystalline enamel rods, that gradually fill up with stains and debris. As a result, the teeth eventually develop a dull, lackluster appearance. Teeth whitening removes the stains and debris, leaving the enamel cracks open and exposed. Some of the cracks are quickly re-mineralized by saliva, while others are filled up again with organic debris.
