For about 5 years I have been bringing my pets to Elk Neck Veterinary Clinic. The staff is truly exceptional from the receptionist to the tech. The reason I have stayed with them is because of their reliability and how they truly care for my pets. I always tell my family and friends to start bringing their pets here and those that have listened have not been disappointed.
I have been taking my cat Xena to Elk Neck Veterinary Clinic for 4 1/2 years. All of the people there are great, they even call me at home to check in when Xena is sick. They just upgraded their facility so it is even nicer than before. I have no complaints what so ever, they really go all out for you. - Tracy T.-

We are new to the area and I have taken my dogs to this vet twice. I have not figured out what the L. Ron Hubbard display has to do with a vet clinic but ok. The people are nice, vet appeared knowledgeable but it was very expensive. I personally felt the wait time was too long. It also seemed as if they are always trying to upsell you--at times I felt like I was buying a used car. They kept talking about some prepaid thing--well it ended up being a $29.50 prepaid plastic bottle for the stool sample. It was very unclear and I am sure many people fall for this. Great business move I must say. Do you know what the percentage of people likely never to return this thing? Good for their bottomline, bad for mine. Bottomline for me..not going back.
If you have nothing better to do with your time and you'd like to wait several hours at the veterinary clinic for your dog or cat to get a shot - please, by all means, come here. This doctor has absolutely no regard for other people's time or money. Last appointment, I waited an hour and a half before I was even taken back to an exam room for my cat to have a simple booster shot. Then, I waited another half an hour before the doctor even came into the exam room to administer the shot. Do they offer any apology for the long wait? NO. Do they even acknowledge that you just waited 2 hours for a shot? NO. Gave her one more chance and scheduled another appointment for a shot a few months later. I made the first appointment of the day so my appointment wouldn't get pushed back. Waited 45 minutes before asking what was taking so long. I figured maybe a surgery took longer than expected or maybe there was an emeergency. Nope, she just hadn't bothered to come in yet. What are appointments for? In today's economy, people should be grateful for the customers they have and treat them with respect. Don't waste your time here, it's not the only vet clinic in town!
