I have been taking my cat Xena to Elk Neck Veterinary Clinic for 4 1/2 years. All of the people there are great, they even call me at home to check in when Xena is sick. If you have nothing better to do with your time and you'd like to wait several hours at the veterinary clinic for your dog or cat to get a shot - please, by all means, come here. This doctor has absolutely no regard for other people's time or money. Last appointment, I waited an hour and a half before I was even taken back to an exam room for my cat to have a simple booster shot. Then, I waited another half an hour before the doctor even came into the exam room to administer the shot. Do they offer any apology for the long wait? NO. Do they even acknowledge that you just waited 2 hours for a shot? NO. Gave her one more chance and scheduled another appointment for a shot a few months later. I made the first appointment of the day so my appointment wouldn't get pushed back. Waited 45 minutes before asking what was taking so long. I figured maybe a surgery took longer than expected or maybe there was an emeergency. Nope, she just hadn't bothered to come in yet. What are appointments for? In today's economy, people should be grateful for the customers they have and treat them with respect. Don't waste your time here, it's not the only vet clinic in town!
