We have had Dave on other service calls and are extremely satisfied. He knows what he is doing and thoroughly checked out the operation of the new Ice dispenser. He also recommend the replacement of the water filter, which made the Ice dispenser work better. While servicing the Fridge he also vacuumed, under the bottom of the Fridge as he noted it was running fairly warm. All working fine.
Again, a very terrible repair service. I have used Sears service contracts for approx. 45 yrs with great satisfaction. The past couple of years has been just horrible. I have used them maybe 3 times for service and each time was worse that the other. The current problem with the dryer is exactly as it was prior to the repairman coming. I think I'm done.
I am disappointed because although the repairman did fix the ice dispenser, he did not ensure that all things were working properly with it. After he left, the ice dispenser started dispensing ice that had rust on it. Some part of the ice maker had rusted since it was not operable, so now it dispenses rusty ice. I guess we'll have to have him back, and hopefully they don't charge another service call.
I have always been happy with Sears warranty service but this time it failed. Unfortunately they now have to come back and it will not be until after the New YEAR. so I am not happy camper! I hope it gets fixed this time. IN the mean time I get to listen to the sounds of a plane powering up or the whistling of a bomb dropping! when my washer hits the spin cycle!
Serviceman lied repeatedly. Washing machine smelled horrible, he said he smelled nothing but we should by 3 Affresh tablets for $32.00 (a $7.00 item). I said, give me a quote to take out drum and clean strainer. He quoted me $160.00 to replace drum. Finally, it smelled so horrible I said just do it.
He found old socks and various items. It smelled so bad I thought that he was going to be sick.
Then he tried to jam the $32.00 Affresh tablets onto the rediculous bill.
I feel that he was thief wearing your uniform. I've been a good loyal customer since 1980 but unless you refund something ...you absolutely lost a customer.
