My husband and I went to Shiraz last night (Saturday 1/6/18) for date night. We showed up at 8:30pm and decided to sit at their bar which was completely empty. We sat for about 15 minutes before walking out. No one smiled at us, no greetings, no menus, nothing. There were 4 servers standing to the left of us and the manager came over to get water directly in front of where we were sitting and didn't look up once. We are very patient and don't mind waiting, but when we don't even get an acknowledgement after 15 minutes of sitting down at an empty bar, it is very discouraging.
Very nice affordable restaurant. Most Mediterranean restaurants are either hole in the walls or buffets. Only tried the chicken, will definitely be back. Nice enough fora romantic dinner

Possibly the best deli in Texas. Great deli, not another chain sandwich shop. I've eaten and NY and Chicago deli's, and this is right there with the best I've eaten at. I work in Arlington, and will dive all the way here. Can't get this anywhere in Texas that I've found.
I gave a party for 20 people and we ordered a buffett of the different dishes no one could pick out a favorite the owner was very informative on all the food total enjoyable evening around the pool give it a ty you wont be disappointed
This restaurant has new management, new decor and new food. The abience is great. The service is good and the food is excellent true Italian. The home made bread and sauces are exceptional.
18. Gyros To Go
I've been driving by this place for the longest time and today I decided to stop by for dinner.I ordered the beef shawarma plate, with hummus and baba gannoush for sides and Tabboulli. And as a first time diner they offered a free baklava for dessert. The shawarma was well spiced: the bed of rice…
Brunch Buffet on the weekends can be good or they can be bad: this one happens to be a good one.You can expect all the staples: baklava, hummus, babaganoush, salads, grilled meats and more. The standouts here for me where the variety or cheese and spinach pies, and the grilled chickens and meats…
It was one of the best mediterranean and persian places I've had in the area. I really liked the chicken kabobs with this sauce that they had. It had loads of flavor and it really hit the spot. My friends and I really had a good time. The way they decorated the place is really nice. I would sugg…
Service, Staff and Food is amazing. They learn to know you and your order. Ingredients are always fresh. Price is always affordable. I highly recommend this spot to anybody might be a hole in the wall but it's the best hole in the wall I know. PS. Go in and ask for a Carl it will knock your sock…
I have lived in the area for 7 years & this place never attracted me. Its in a old wataburger place. Needless to say me & my husband tried it & where very amazed!! Love the food! & reasonable price for italian food! (:
26. Cigarz Pizza
I love it! It's a little nook that shouldn't be overlooked! The Greek pizza is AMAZING! So full of different flavors! The beef kabob is just as great! At just $4, you can't go wrong! The guys running the place were really cool and friendly! I'm glad i stopped by and gave it a shot!
Ordered the sampler platter and got a ton of food: kebabs, gyros, lamb chop, lamb, chicken, beef and more. All delicious with perfectly grilled meats. My only complaint: way too much salt in the Adana and the gyros. And I'm not afraid of salt. My fingers are going to swell up later.Service is still sketchy: still too new to find their groove I'll assume.THIS PLACE IS BYOB!!
It’s a pricy place. The food was good, but the portions were too small for the high prices. Small cup of white rice was $5.00.
So this is a build-your-own sandwich / bowl kind of place: nice selection at the salad bar for toppings but I know it's not a thing for some diners.Falafel: under-flavored if you are an ethic foods seeker. I have it in a bowl for the toppings I added helped with the flavor but they are bland with a hint of black pepper.Shawarma: lamb was nicely cooked but the again kind of tame in the flavor department. I had this as a small sandwich: pita is on the thick side about the thickness of thin toast bread.Fries: well, they are fries. Nice mayo and curried ketchup dipping sauces.Overall it's ok: if you're going to be in the area already and all the other dining spots around are packed come here. Just don't make a special trip.
Referring to the location on Beltline & Tollway. It's quite nice. A good place for lunch if you're on a schedule. The food is good although I'm sure the chicken is processed. That's my only diss. For a $10 lunch it's almost exceptional.
My first time at any of these Zoe Kitchens: very nice, bright, food is made to order after you order and pay at the counter, and in not too long a time it all shows up.I ordered the hummus trio as my starter: showed up with my entree. GGRRR!!! Nice trifecta of hummus flavors, kind of bland for my taste, but pleasant. The Beef Kabobs were decent: two hefty skewers, grilled veggies and course "mashed" potatoes. The beef had a lamb chewiness to them (fine if it was lamb, but not for beef), grilled veggies were nice, and the potatoes were tasty.Overall nice place.
I fell in love with this place on the first day and with the service and it's staff, I have never felt neglected keep up the good work.
Soft music, great service, flavorful hot meals that dances on the palette indicative of Turkish cuisine. perfect for date night or friends enjoying the evening. Being from Seattle, this place scored high on my taste buds.
Shiraz Mediterranen Restaurant Is coming soon in Dallas
I had the chicken and my wife had the lamb. Everything except the babaganoosh was amazing, but I most likely just don't like babaganoosh.
