Like a small Bistro in Italy. Food is awesome. Quite small and intimate. The staff is very welcoming.
If only you could give 0 stars. Horrible Business Practices. Bought a groupon hoping this place would be a good replacement for the big name pizza…

Amazing Italian restaurant located at the north end of little Italy. We sat in the more casual dining section booth (there is also a little more formal with dark wood paneling section). So cozy and comfortable. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. We had the special pizza for the night which had proccuito and basil and tomatoes and just was wow! We started with the garlic toast and antipasto salad which were both flavorful and generous. Ended the meal with homemade tiramisu and spumoni ice cream. Highly recommend.
We had a nice dinner. We shared a pepperoni pizza. Ordered spaghetti carbonara, ravioli, spaghetti with clams and lasagna. All entrees were tasty. Highly recommend the lasagna with its tasty meat-sauce.
Friendly servive, good prices, delicious food. Basic wood fired pizza was so good! Ambiance made it better.
Good food, good service: not sure how "Italian" it is though.Ordered the flat bread and the Schnitzel: flat bread had a cracker-style super thin crispy crust with mozz, salami, tomato and pesto. The schnitzel was pounded so thin it filled the plateAnd was not rubbery at all.Service was good too. Nice second floor space with good views.
We called ahead to get on their wait list, and were seated almost immediately. The food was delicious and the service superb. The place was very crowded, but not too noisy--conversation was still possible.
By far the best Italian food ever!! The Penne Adele was amazing. Everything about this place is great! We went twice on our weekend vacation.
My first visit to this restaurant and was not impressed. The sea bass had more skin than fish and the vegetables had no flavor. Her dish was a half chicken that was cold and flavor was marginal at best. The Caesar Salad was covered in thinly sliced radish and was bitter and very little dressing. Would not go back.
Great pasta place with affordable meals. I highly recommend the mizithra and meat sauce combo known as the managers special. Includes soup or salad and desert for under $15
Torpasta is unique and photogenic! That was why I brought my mom to this restaurant when we were at San Diego. We ordered the Dayna's Vegan Special and it was delicious! Food quality was great at this place, but the service was a bit slow.We saw many people ordered pizzas which looked yummy also. I will definitely try that next time!
