        I have an air compressor with a 2 yr. warranty, David the road tech. diagnosed the reed valves were bad, around Dec 13th. They ordered parts, another tech. came about the 23rd and installed reed valves which corrected the problem. All was under... (More) I have an air compressor with a 2 yr. warranty, David the road tech. diagnosed the reed valves were bad, around Dec 13th. They ordered parts, another tech. came about the 23rd and installed reed valves which corrected the problem. All was under warranty. Ingersoll rand is trying to charge me for the repair when the valve kit repaired the problem under warranty! Ingersoll Rand tech diagnosed problem, but now Ingersoll Rand wants to charge me back for it. Contacted lawyer and he suggested we got to the top man Marc Dufour and bring him into court to get this straight. No other option but to do this! Obviously, Ingersoll Rand doesnt stand behind their warranty. I deal with a lot of companies (repair shops) and definately will let them know not to buy Ingersoll Rand products! CUSTOMER BEWARE! They took money off my credit card without authorization. Will have to settle this in court.
