This company has become the the king of rip offs and bad customer service. In April they came out for my bi-yearly maintenance call on a 6 year old unit. They have been back 10 times in 4 months. They have replaced 4 computer boards and 5 thermostats. I inadvertently threw away one of the thermostats and was told that to replace it would cancel my warranty. I was pressured into buying another unit. The old unit (6 years old) with 4 more years on the warranty cost $11,000.00. The new unit cost $12,000.00 and was installed, but the old unit is still sitting in my side yard after a week. No one form ARS will return my call to tell me when the old unit will be removed. My advice is to call ANYONE OTHER than ARS!!!!!

My experience with ARS is a very positive one. The technician is very knowledgeable and seems to take pride in being able to to do a great job. He explained his recommendations and gave me a very detailed update on my system. He is the same technician from my first visit and his professionalism is truly appreciated!!!Note: I purchased the service plan when on my initial ARS visit earlier this year and right on time, they called and reminded me that it was time to check my system for the winter. The system check was at no additional cost since I had previously purchased the service plan.
