I went to this furniture store and was quoted a price of $2600 that included taxes, warranty, and delivery. I then called another Mt. Pleasant furniture store called My Rooms Furniture Gallery to comparison shop. They quoted me a price of $2100 that included taxes and delivery. I was surprised in the price difference because I expected a Mt. Pleasant furniture store to be more expensive than a “Wholesale” furniture store. I called this store back and the salesman spoke with management and they agreed to match the price. When I told them that I wanted to use a credit of $2000 from a furniture warranty that they had sold me, then I was told that they would not honor the price of $2100 but the price would be $3100. I was shocked because this was an increase of $1000 in price! Needless to say, I was very disappointed that they would not honor the price that management had approved.

I tried speaking with both the owner and manager and neither one would honor the price. They blamed me for not telling them about the store credit I had. As a customer, I mistakenly assumed that a credit would not change the price that I had been quoted. I had never been to a furniture store when management approved one price and then would not honor it. The entire experience was very frustrating and time consuming. I would advise understanding how the furniture warranties before purchasing at this store. I plan to use other furniture stores in the future that honor prices that they have quoted.

I never write reviews but my shopping experience with Wholesale Furniture Co was beyond exceptions. The whole staff was very friendly and professional even though they were very busy. Everything came in as expected and we are now enjoying our very comfortable living room suit.

This was the best furniture buying experience ever. I have been shopping for furniture three times since I've moved here, and each time I looked at a bunch of places and ended up here. They have a very big selection, helpful salespeople, and low prices. My sister that lives in N.C. was so impressed that she bought a bedroom set that they delivered quicker than her last purchase at a furniture store 5 minutes from her house.

Our experience reminded me of Geralds Tire.....Great service, selection and prices. We purchased two rooms of furniture and had it delivered in 3 days. Very Happy!

Wow! They have a huge showroom...

Wow! They have a huge showroom with lots of different styles to choose from. I have shopped many stores before coming here. I choose to purchase my furniture here because of the personalized attention that I received not only from the sales staff but the office staff as well. I received my furniture and when it was delivered there was a small scratch on the dresser. I called right away and the service man was out here the very next day to fix it. You can't even tell there was a scratch on it. I am SO HAPPY with my purchase that I just had to let everyone know.

I'm not a person to write revi...

I'm not a person to write reviews and even had to create a profile just to write this. I walked in and was immediately approached by a salesman, Chad, which is normal anytime you go to a furniture store. I told him what I was looking for and he chose to show me some catalogs. While sitting at one of the tables he began to hit on me, to the point that I was starting to feel uncomfortable. After I mentioned that I was married he continued to harass me. Going so far as to tell me to look around as he would like to watch me. I understand the difference between flattery and downright harassment. There were several things said that made me uncomfortable and when I got a chance I left. I will never be returning and he is lucky I don't file a harassment suit. They have gone too far and it's unacceptable.

The finance dept. is awful. i ask about furniture i bought several years ago so i could get a close match..cpu crashed lost all info but the lady runningg place rudly said i told you buy iy 3 yrs ago and you didn't listen to me. well listen to me shorty never buy nothing here. best people ran it 4yrs ago ..employees there now suck.

I would say don't go here! I ordered furniture on 3/1/13 was told it would be in on 3/15/13 needless to say when the delivery date arrived I called and the girl told me she didn't order the furniture until 3/4/13 and the furniture would not be delivered to the store until 6 weeks from the order date and I still would have to wait a week before they scheduled the delivery! Today the lady called me 4*4*13 to say it will be here next week and after the week of furniture sitting in the warehouse they will set up delivery!

If I could choose no stars I would.

The man that greeted us at the door literally stalked us through the store until I politely advised we'd call him if needed. I'm not sure if he had mental health issues, but did not seem fully capable of the requirements a sales associate should possess.

Upon choosing a set (couch, loveseat and accent chair) with the Ashley Furniture brand name on it, I called over the saleman and asked what they would sell the set for as we were ready/willing to pay cash.

When we walked into the store initially, my husband noted a sign stating that they would beat other prices by 10% or up to $100.00

While the saleman was checking with the finance dept. to see what he could get the set down to, my husband was able to locate all three identical pieces/item numbers online for a total of 1296.00 which offered tax free for the holidays.

We were quoted through Wholesale Furniture 1690.00 but was advised there would still be taxes on top of that. We were also advised that the 1690.00 included white-glove delivery at a rate of $330.00 (the store we found online charged the same for delivery whether white-glove or curb side)

In short, Wholesale Furniture failed to match the price that we showed them(which they verified online as well)

The finance woman clearly did not want our business as provided no reason as to why they would not "beat" or even match the pricing that we found and when we advised that we were leaving without purchasing the furniture~she responded "Ok" with a poor attitude.

I wish I had believed the reviews. Do no go to this place ever. I bought a bed and was guaranteed they had it and when they would deliveried. Went and bought the mattresses and set up delivery. When I called next day to make sure delivery was set they said they couldn't find the beds in their warehouse. They could order and have them in so many days. Why would you let them order one when they lied when they said that they had 2 in stock and couldn't find them. Took a lot to get my money back. Will never set foot in that store and will let all people know not to do business with this compnay. They are to worse in customer service. If you are smart and reading this don't do like I did and ignore the reviews save yourself the headache and stress go some place else and get your furniture. Thanks for listening and by the was the people over and Ashley Furniture by Tanger outlet are the best. I gave the a one star because you have to put at least one star and wouldn't even give that one star and don't deservice any.

Never buy from these shady people!

I ordered beds,paid in full February 11th and now it's March 22nd and I still haven't gotten my furniture! They NEVER RETURN CALLS and when I've gone there in person, I'm always given an excuse... Computers were down so they can't tell me anything, phones were down that's why they haven't called, tax season so they've just been really busy.they said it could be another month! They got my money so they don't care that I'm still sleeping on the floor!

Paid in full for my sofa on 3/6/09. I was promised the sofa would be in on 3/16/2009, get a call saying it will be in on 3/17 on 3/17 received another phone call saying sofa will not be in until 3/30!!!! I cancelled the order and went to Haverty's. Had perfect sofa from there in a week! Wholesale furniture employees lie through their teeth to get a sale, I do not recommend this store at all. I would be surprised if they are still in business in 2010.

Ordered product in March 08. ...

Ordered product in March 08. Received wrong one in May. Reordered. Received 2nd product in July...wrong one. Had to reorder AGAIN...Said it would take 4 weeks, then another 4 weeks, then it "might" be another 2 months. Was finally assured that it would be on next weeks truck and that they would call for delivery time. (1st of September) It is now the beginning of October. This company has made mistake after mistake with "paperwork" and I am still trying to get the correct product that I have paid for IN FULL. We are all human, and make mistakes...but 6 months is more than enough time to correct a simple mistake.
