Overall
Highly Recommended for Corporate Travelers

As a single professional corporate consultant, and female traveler from West Palm Beach, FL and Atlanta, I typically choose the best accommodations and sometimes prefer boutique hotels or 4-5 star ones. It is important to have cutting edge technology, premier location, airport shuttle, comfort, as well as onsite fitness and restaurant. Being in the luxury hospitality business I am very much a critic (snob) sometimes when it comes to hotels, accommodations, and guest services.

.

I have just completed my fourth stay at the newly renovated Radisson Hotel Charleston Airport in Charleston, SC within the last several months. Each visit was a week long, while in the Charleston area for meetings. I can honestly say, without a doubt this is the best hotel stay for all the modern amenities, comfort, value, and technology! The staff is very pleasant and accommodating, rooms are very spacious, lots of closet space, and your own controls in the room for A/C, and quiet for a great night's sleep! I loved the luxury linens and divine Sleep Number Beds with adjustable firmness. The luxury baths were a pleasant surprise with designer products, granite counter tops, which were newly renovated with lots of nice cabinetry and space. (the showers are wonderful).

I also enjoyed the wireless internet access anywhere in the hotel from the room, the atrium area, restaurant, which offered excellent signals, critical when traveling for work. It was also nice having coffee/tea makers in the room with microwaves and refrigerators for convenience.

The best part is the fitness center, which getting in late at night, always felt comfortable and safe while enjoying TV with all the premier channels, or reading a book while using the upscale fitness equipment. Most hotels typically have broken equipment, but the Radisson equipment was all new and in excellent working condition, as well as the sauna. I also enjoyed the atrium area with indoor pool and Jacuzzi with lots of lounging areas to read and book and unwind at the end of the day, or use my laptop to catch up on work with the wireless in a nice relaxing environment!

The restaurant was very nice as had a full breakfast each morning, and conducted several business meetings in the restaurant while at the Radisson. In the evenings, the staff is great about preparing salads and other items for a quick dinner or glass of wine at the bar or out in the atrium. They also offer lots of meeting space which was very convenient.

The hotel is only 4 miles from the airport with complimentary transportation. The driver is always courteous and you never have to wait. It is also near many restaurants, and shopping areas like Target, Tanger Outlet Mall, as well as Starbucks, and only a few short miles to the downtown Historic area, and the beaches.

I have stayed in many of the upscale downtown historic boutique hotels, inns, and bed and breakfast; however, if you want complimentary parking, internet, and all the comforts and conveniences of a 5 star hotel with a value and prme location, choose Radisson Hotel Charleston Airport! The best! I look forward to this being my hotel of choice when visiting the Charleston area for business or pleasure!
